Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Timeless, meaningful, and original

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Rihanna, Aaliyah and India Irie

Q) What is the song writing process like for you?

A) I tend to get writers block sometimes, but that doesn’t stop me. I just start from scratch and keep going. Sometimes it’s easy and sometimes it’s hard. You just have to have good vibes in order to write a song.

Q) Do you need music before you create the lyrics?

A) Not exactly, sometimes you can write without music which a lot of artists do and sometimes I do. I just personally think the process goes a lot faster if you have the music already.

Q) What do you think it is about your new song “Your Smile” that fans are really connecting to?

A) I really love it. I think it’s a fun, catchy record that people from all ages can sing and vibe, too.

Q) How does the music video play into the message of the song?

A) Well, a lot of people in this world are afraid to show that beautiful smile of theirs or they think they are too cool to smile. So, in this music video I’m showcasing a world where it’s okay to smile and show how you feel. For instance, in the beginning I had a mask on representing the people who don’t show their smile, but under that mask it was the biggest smile in the world, showing that it’s okay to smile.

Q) What was it like working with Mike Kalombo on the track?

A) Working with Mike on this track I would say was very fun and challenging at the same time. When it comes to my music he gives me tough love and I really appreciate that because the result comes out the way it should be. I really love working with him.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I have a say in the production of my music, Mike and I give each other an open space to give out ideas and comment about the song or production, but I have the ability to say, “I’m not feeling this,” or “I really like that.”

Q) The song racked up 22,000 views in 5 days. How did that make you feel?

A) It makes me happy and grateful to know that there are people out there who rock with my music and that’s all I want is for my music to be heard all around the world.

Q) What can fans expect from a live Cravetay performance?

A) Fans can expect to see my music transform into human form. Not only am I singing, but I am acting and becoming one with my music.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I would say Drake and Rihanna because I really think we’d create a sound that no one has heard before.

Q) What can fans do to help promote your music?

A) My “Cravers” can make videos singing or dancing to my music. They can create edits, lyric videos or even just simply post and tell a friend.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media is a great platform to get closer with your fans and even talk to them. I think having people get to see who I am and see a little bit of my life allows them to connect with my music way more than if they never saw what I looked like.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your music?

A) I love you all and wish I can hug and talk to each and every one of you! Thank you all for rocking with me through this journey! I wouldn’t be able to do this without y’all! I hope y’all continue to support and grow with me. Thanks Cravers for everything!
