Drew Justice – Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street

Q) Tell us about “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street” and about your character Ranger Bowen.

A) Ranger is mischievous, fun kid to be around. At the same time, he can always pull it together. The show is about three kids who live on Normal Street, which isn’t quite normal. Anything can happen!

Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?

A) When I first read the script, I thought “Wow, Ranger seems like a cool kid to play!” The show seemed like it would be a big success. I just really wanted to be a part of it.

Q) Did the cast chemistry come naturally or did it take some time for everyone to bond?

A) The chemistry with the cast was instant. I think that shows in the pilot. I can’t wait to watch the rest of the season to see how awesome we did together.

Q) What do you think it is that made that chemistry so instant?

A) Ever since we started filming the pilot, it was like we had known each other from five years ago. It’s like we had been friends for such a long time. I think it comes through.

Q) What have been some of your most memorable moments from filming?

A) Really it was the entire experience. I don’t think I can pick one individual moment that was the best. My entire summer was filming this wonderful series with two of my most awesome friends. I just had a great time.

Q) Are you a part of social media? Fans will be able to give you instant fan feedback when the show premieres.

A) I’m on Instagram and Twitter a little bit. I’m looking forward to hearing from fans a lot!

Q) What do you think it is about the Amazon network that makes the show a great fit for it?

A) The show is not just a show for kids or for adults. I think it is a show for the whole family to watch, which is going to be really cool because families will be able to spend time together and watch it.

Q) What have you learned from working on the show?

A) This is my first TV show to film. I’ve only done movies before. I thought filming a TV show was really cool because it wasn’t one big long story. So, we had different adventures week to week.

A) I’d like to thank all my cast and crew members and especially Amazon for giving me the opportunity to do this.
