Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) Right now, I am in rehearsals for a play called “Sploosh” for the 23rd Annual Young Playwrights Festival here in Los Angeles. It was written by a 17 year old guy and its really great ! I am also in the mix for several projects for TV and film.

Q) Please tell us the premise for the film The Bronze and about your character.

A) The Bronze is a really funny comedy about a bronze medal gymnast named Hope Gregory (Melissa Rauch) who is still fighting for fame against a new rising gymnast. I play Hope as a young teenager when she wins the bronze medal. Melissa and her husband Winston both wrote the script and it opened this years Sundance Film Festival.

Q) How was Young Hope originally described to you?

A) Hope is a very passionate gymnast who has a special bond with her coach and is raised by her father.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the film?

A) The script is hilarious and I really loved the physical aspect of it, as I am not only an actress, but also an aerialist. So, I had the opportunity to use all my skills.

Q) There is such a great cast to the film. What did you learn from your experiences on set?

A) I feel so lucky to be a part of such a great project and the cast was fantastic. I learned so much from working with the stunt coordinator, who taught me so many tricks. Even though I was the youngest, I never felt like it! Everybody was so welcoming.

Q) What type of guidance or advice did director Bryan Buckley provide you that you took to heart?

A) Bryan was so inspiring. He really gave me a lot of artistic freedom and he was very trusting of my abilities.

Q) You play Melissa Rauch’s younger self. Did you spend time together to bond in order to portray one another?

A) Yes! Melissa is one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met. She made sure we truly bonded. I hope I grow up to be just like her…brilliant!

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming The Bronze?

A) I got to travel to Ohio with my grandma and go to the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame. The stadium we filmed in was also incredible. When I received the bronze medal on the podium for the USA it felt awesome!

Q) Why will people want to take their time to see the movie?

A) They will laugh their butts off! It is Melissa and Winston’s love project and it is so great! And not too mention, I’m in it!
