Aaron Drozin – Beyond Fun

By  |

Q) What are the current projects you are working on?

A) I am not working on anything right now. I have some possible commercials coming up, though.

Q) Tell us about the movie Fun With Dick and Jane and your character, Billy.

A) My parents are so busy being successful that they do not realize that  I spend so much time with the housekeeper that I end up with a Hispanic accent and speak Spanish. Once they get fired from their jobs they turn to a life of crime to support us.

Q) Why did you want to be a part of the film?

A) I wanted to be in the movie.

Q) What was your most memorable moment from filming?

A) When we’re in the family room, we were having a picnic with no electricity. We used candles for lights and Jim taught me how to shoot soybeans out of the pod. Also, there is a hockey scene with Jim. I asked him if he used to play hockey and he said yes. He asked for a hockey stick and a puck. We started doing a hockey scene and scored a lot. Jim pretended to be in the 1980 Olympics and he was playing goalie Jim Craig. We got into fights and went to the penalty box. We kept on fighting in the penalty box.

Q) What was it like working with Jim Carey & Tea Leoni?

A) It was great! It was really fun!

Q) How did you learn Spanish and a Nicaraguan accent for the film?

A) I practiced a lot with my dad.

Q) Why did you want to be an actor?

A) I always loved acting, starting with my kindergarten school play and participated in several plays from preschool up.  I went to a place called the JRP and I started learning how to act.

Q) What are the winter movies that you are looking forward to seeing?

A) I want to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I also want to see Star Wars 3, which is coming out on DVD.

Q) What are the things you do in your spare time?

A) I act, and play hockey and soccer. I like to play forward.

Q) What would you like to say to all of your fans and supporters?

A) I hope that you like this movie. I hope that you will get to see me in other projects in the future.
