Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) My sound is a mix of indie pop production and pop vocals with a little bit of spice! I like to mix up my sound while still keeping it young.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) It’s hard for me to narrow my influences down. I love listening to new music so a lot of the time I am inspired by different acts. My “idol” is definitely Cher though! She’s the BEST!!!

Q) You are an MTV artist. How does that make you feel?

A) Being an MTV artist is a huge honor. MTV is responsible for introducing me to most of the music I fell in love with as a kid. If it weren’t for them, who knows how I would have stumbled across some of my all time favorite acts?

Q) What is it about your new song “Sparxx” that resonates with fans?

A) I wrote “SPARXX” about young love. Love makes the world go around. So, I think when people can think about someone they’ve loved, or currently love, it really connects.

Q) What can fans expect from a live Alexx Mack concert?

A) My live show contains a lot of energy. I like to connect with my audience and make everyone feel included in the performance.

Q) What can fans do to help promote your music?

A) My fans have been really incredible via social media. The best way to help support me and my journey would be through Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Post about me online and share my message and my music to your friends and family.

Q) You are a part of social networking sites. Why is it important for you to connect with fans that way?

A) I love social media. I think it’s so important to share bits and pieces of yourself so people can really understand who you are. I’m not trying to pretend to be someone I’m not and hide behind Photoshopped pictures. I want everyone to know what goes on in my life, whether it be in the studio, at home, out with friends and with no makeup on.

Q) Being in the spotlight, how do you deal with being a role model to young fans?

A) I love it. My goal is to make young people feel comfortable with who they are, especially females. There are a lot of artists out there that don’t understand their impact on the younger generations. For me, it’s an honor and an incredible opportunity.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your music?

A) THANK YOU!!! And I love you. Because of your support I can do what I love everyday.
