The Cinemax series “Banshee” concludes with a Season Four made up of an eight episode finale. Former Sheriff and previous master-thief Lucas Hood (Antony Starr) is on a new mission to find and save his friend Job (Hoon Lee). Post frantic search, Hood has been living as a recluse for the past eighteen months in a cabin – ironically – owned by nemesis Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen).

Now sheriff, Brock Lotus (Matt Servitto) comes across the Hood’s remote cabin and is surprised to find him as the resident. Lotus fills him in on what has been happening back in Banshee. It seems the body of Rebecca Bowman (Lili Simmons) has been found, seemingly the victim of a serial killer. With this news, Lucas finally wakes up and returns to the world with a new mission – to find her murderer.

Upon arriving back in town, he learns that former flame Carrie Hopewell (Ivana Millicevic) and partner in crime Sugar Bates (Frankie Faison) haven’t given up the search for Job. Because of he has been in hiding, Hood becomes a suspect. Oddly though, Proctor also has a finger pointed at him. The more likely culprit though is a satanic cult.

Season Four continues the fast pace of “Banshee” as we watch Lucas and company working to find and save their friend Job who has been suffering months and months of physical torture at the hands of his captor. We also find drug addict and FBI agent Veronica Dawson (Eliza Dushku) helping to find and put an end to the serial killer and exploring the drug activities of The Brotherhood (a neo-Nazi organization). As a former member, Deputy Kurt Bunker (Tom Pelphrey) is still at odds with his active brother  Calvin (Chris Coy).

Never one to sit by and watch the violence, Proctor enlists the aid of his loyal Butler/Bodyguard Burton (Matthew Rauch) to help with the supply and demand of drugs for The Brotherhood. After losing her husband, Carrie decides to do her best to put an end to town’s drug dealing – all by herself.

With all of the town happenings, this action-packed series concludes as it begun – with graphic violence, torture and sexuality. Sadly, not everyone will survive, but Banshee Season Four will not disappoint!
