Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) Currently I am still busy shooting over at “Days of Our Lives”…I also recently wrote a script with a friend and actor who I met while shooting the film D.O.A., which I shot last December. The film is titled Willowbrook and is currently in development with Rose Ganguzza (Martha Marcy May Marlene and Kill Your Darlings) who is producing.

Q) Was there anything you added to your role that wasn’t originally scripted for you?

A) No. My part was very small. I was just happy to be a part of it all honestly. But there was definitely no need to change anything at all… Noah and Will are both so talented…Everything was already there. It was really an amazing learning experience.

Q) What did you find the most challenging aspect of your portrayal?

A) I think the physicality of it all. My part takes place at the beginning of the film. And not to give anything away, but the position my character was in was very physically demanding. It was amazing, but let’s just say I was sore for a few days.

Q) Before filming, did you take the time to test yourself in an Escape Room experience?

A) I actually have done them a few times with my wife. So, it was cool to be asked to be a part of the film. My wife and I faired much better in real life though! [laughs]

Q) What advice did director Will Wernick provide you during filming that you took to heart?

A) He was just really encouraging. He was very specific about that he wanted…and anytime he saw me getting in my head he stepped in and gave me what I needed to move on. Because I was only in one day, I think he could see the nerves I had from working with everyone for the first time under such demanding conditions. Will is fantastic though and I can’t wait to see where his career goes.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming the movie?

A) Just trying things that at the time I hadn’t yet…was a lesson in preparation and body management to have to be at a ten from start to finish. I have such admiration for actors who do these types of films…I mean, damn! It is truly one of the hardest scenes I have ever had to shoot.

Q) What did you personally take away from your experience on the film?

A) Meeting the Will and the rest of the crew. Everyone was amazing. Only regret was I didn’t get to spend more time them all.

Q) You are a part of social media. Are you looking forward to the fan reaction you’ll be receiving?

A) Yeah can’t wait…Mainly to see Will and the other actors who did such an amazing job get the recognition they deserve. From what little time I’ve spent with them, they seem like a bunch of rockstars.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Just thank you from the bottom of my heart…I have some of the best fans in the world. They are so supporting, whether it’s “Days of Our Lives” I’m shooting or a film like Escape Room…They are the most loyal in the world. I owe them everything. And thank you for taking the time to ask the questions…It was a real pleasure.
