Q. What are the current projects that you are working on?

A. Right now I am working on recovering from Thanksgiving and a film I just wrapped is; I just wrapped two projects, one is called Dungeon Siege and the other is called Tooth Fairy. As well as a really physical role of “Jenifer” which is the title role in one of the Master of Horrors series.

Q. What can you tell us about the premise for Master of Horrors and your character “Jenifer”?

A. The premise for Master of Horrors is that it is a thirteen part, hour-long horror film. It’s done by thirteen different famous horror directors and it started by a party and they were all just getting together and one of them said we should make a movie. “Jenifer” is the second one filmed and the director was Dario Argento. He is a famous Italian director and “Jenifer” is based on a creepy comic book from the 70’s. She has the body of Salma Hayek but a horribly disfigured face.

Q. How did you hear about the role?

A. Well, I read about the comic book being optioned in the newspaper and I thought hopefully I can try and get just a read for the audition. Then I didn’t hear anything about it so it dropped out of my mind. Then, a few weeks later I got a call to audition in an hour. Then when I was auditioning and going for the call back I remember that I had read about it.

Q. What did the audition involve?

A. The “Jenifer” audition, I had to be there in an hour, I went into a hotel room with about eight people involved in the production and the director asked me to attack a pillow and I did.

Q. What made you want to take on the role of “Jenifer”?

A. Well, first of all I was offered it so that definitely a plus. The director seemed really, really interesting, he found me fascinating so that’s sort of a plus when someone really likes you. You’re like okay I’ll do anything you ask and it was a big break for me. I hadn’t really had anything that big yet and also only the fact that she wasn’t a victim. She’s really vulnerable and plays on people’s sympathy and stuff but she lives in the end, which is rare for a horror film.

Q. What did you do to prepare for the role?

A. I hit the gym and then I thought like “Jenifer” twenty-four seven.

Q. How was working with director Dario Argento?

A. He was really impressive, I was without a father figure for a lot of my childhood so it was nice to have a wonderful Italian guy giving me directions. Working with him, he is really hands on and if something wasn’t being done fast enough he’d jump in and do it himself. I have a really great picture of him doing my hair.

Q. Do you have a most memorable moment from filming Master of Horrors?

A. Between action and cut the work is fun and stuff but there is this whole world that happens behind the scenes. Being on that the set, the crew is great and stuff, but it’s so funny that having that big of a role there is so much drama happening behind the scenes that it was a sitcom and a dramatic series all happening on its own.

Q. You’re also in the film Tooth Fairy. Why should viewers take the time to check out this film?

A. Because I think it’s really funny, I just love horror films so hopefully people will check it out just to see my performance and to check it out be scared and have a good chuckle at the funny, cheesy great moments.

Q. What are your passions besides acting?

A. Food, film and my boyfriend.

Q. Do you have a latest obsession? Are you into any particular sport, book, music group or activity?

A. Well, here in Vancouver the Canucks are back, we were on a hockey strike for a while so my obsession is watching the Canucks play. I also read this great book called In Her Shoes, which is a movie that just came out. I read it on a trip to Vegas and I couldn’t put it down the whole time, it was great. Check it out!

Q. What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A. Well, my supporters would be my agent and my mom and I’d like to say thanks for kicking my ass and my fans, like the thirty or so guys who mail me from jail, please stop breaking the law.
