As the episode begins, we are faced with some random images coming from what seems to be an electrical device. A truck arrives to an isolated camp and carries a white bag with what seems to be a human body in it. Dr. Lester (Paul Schackman) receives the “humanoid” body and starts a procedure on it as instructed while Dr. Noto (June Carryall) and Commander Vos (Anthony Mark Barrow) watch him expectantly from the other side of the glass. He carefully removes a sphere from inside his oval head and replaces it with a new one. And after a few minutes, Dr. Lester declares: “Our Host is online.”

Will (Josh Holloway) and Katie (Sarah Wayne Callies) are trying to establish communication with someone called “Den Mother” from Hennessey´s place. They tell them the gauntlet is on their possession, but they won’t be able to hold it any longer so he is asking for their location in order to deliver the artifact. A voice coming from the other side of the radio begins to dictate some numbers that the couple recognize as the ones Broussard found on Noa´s gear. So, they come to the conclusion that in order to understand the message that has been sent to them, they will need a code book.

Snyder (Peter Jacobson) and Sergeant Paxton (Joshua Dov) are watching as three Blackjack´s units enter through the Downtown Gateway. Snyder orders to the sergeant to put some follow teams on them and inform him on every single movement they make. Later that day, Snyder decides to visit Bennett (Christian Clemenson) and as he is walking through the bureau, he realizes of the chaos that is brewing in there. He confronts Bennett about what´s happening, but the man only says that Los Angeles Bloc will be evacuated and move to San Fernando due to the supply shortages and the elimination of the labor and processing camps. Snyder demands for the real reason and then Bennett confesses that they are starting a recovery operation for the gauntlet.

Katie and Will arrive at the lair and see Broussard (Tory Kittles) and Morgan (Bethany Joy Lenz) taking some guns with them. When the couple ask about the reason, they are informed that the Blackjacks followed them there and now they have to be ready for the attack. Katie asks Bram (Alex Neustaedter) to take Gracie (Isabella Crovetti) and Charlie (Jacob Buster) with him. She gives him a gun and soon they find a place to hide. A flash bang is thrown at them and the gunshot begins. A few Blackjacks’ are killed by Broussard and Will and shortly after another flashbang is thrown at them. Will manages to find Katie and his kids safe and sound somewhere in the lair. Unfortunately, not everyone had the same luck as we see Morgan lying dead in Broussard´s arms.

Snyder arrives at Helena’s (Ally Walker) office and complains about not being informed about the bloc been “evacuated.” She excuses herself by saying that she didn’t want to ruin his good mood so she decided to keep the information from him. She explains that the bloc has been called for “Total Rendition.” She has been offered a position at the Global Authority and she is taking him with her as a part of her team in Europe. Snyder’s daughter has been put on the exemption list so she will be safe as well.

Katie shows up at Carl´s (Casey Sander) and asks him to help them by letting them stay with him for a few days while they find somewhere else to go. He agrees and lets them all in. Katie, Broussard and Will are trying to figure out what to do next. Will suggests to offer the gauntlet to Snyder, but Broussard refuses to do it since everyone in his team had died for that thing.

Maddie (Amanda Righetti) arrives at the Greatest Day facility and attempts to skip the line of people waiting for their supply kit. She manages to get to the front of the line and is immediately stopped by one of the elders (Dane Bowman). She introduces herself and even though he is well aware of who she is he asks her to stand in line and take her experience as a testimony for the community of what starting again means. While she is in line, a group of buses arrive and they are informed about the evacuation to the San Fernando bloc but not everyone seem to be so pleased with their decision. Will calls Snyder from a public phone and asks him to call him back. Once Snyder does, Will confesses that he has something his team is looking for and he is willing to give it to him in exchange for a relocation outside the colony convincing the man to meet with him afterwards. Snyder meets with Commander Vos and informs him that he may have some information that could lead them to the stolen gauntlet. The Commander replies that if that´s true, then he´ll never want for anything again.

Snyder meets Will and is scared when he sees Broussard is there as well. He tells them that the bloc will has been called for Total Rendition, but he wants to come with them to wherever they go. He is tired of seeing the way The Occupation manages everything and he doesn’t want to be part of that anymore. Will is discussing said request from Snyder with Katie when they are interrupted by Carl who informs them that The Occupation has called telling them about the evacuation. Broussard hands Katie the gauntlet and entrusts her with the mission of finding Noa´s people to give the artifact to them. Katie asks him to go with them, but he declines the proposal since he knows The Occupation is looking for him and he doesn’t want to disappoint them. He waves his goodbyes to Katie and Will and watches them leave.

Maddie arrives to a procession center where they had been held before they are sent to San Fernando. A woman attempts to make some conversation with her and suddenly, something snaps inside of her when the other woman asks her if she has kids. She walks straight to the exit claiming it is a mistake that she is in there, but is stopped abruptly by an officer who ends up beating her to the ground when she insists on walking away from the place.

Alan meets Sergeant Paxton and his team on a parking lot. He, along with the help of Katie and Will, had planned an ambush them. They ask the sergeant and his group to strip right there so they can steal their clothes and their van. The trio go to Carl´s house and pick Bram, Charlie and Gracie up. They offer a place for Carl, but he declines. When Bram sees that Snyder is waiting for them in the van he refuses to go with them, but ends up going with them anyway. The group finally reach the gateway and are stopped by some officers in there. Snyder tells one of them that he is taking the kids to a youth camp by orders from the General Governor. He presents them a letter and the officers let them pass telling him to state the same story to their sergeant that they will be meeting at another point ahead on the road.

When the group arrives at the next stop, they are faced with Sergeant Holman (Jamison Haase) who, after a long interrogation, asks them to step out of the vehicle. When they all are out, the tension begins to grow by the minute. Then, one of the officers finds the gauntlet making everything so much worse. Will cannot take it any longer so he decides to take off his hood with Katie following. They point their guns at each other but no one shoots. Will tells him the real reason why the colony has been evacuated, but the man doesn’t believe him easily. The sergeant asks another officer to call the General Governor’s office and when he realizes that there is no response he starts to take Will´s words as true. After a long pondering, the man makes up his mind and lets them go.

A new day has arrived and we see a final sequence where everyone at the procession camp is requested to move forward to the main gate. As they approach hastily to it, a gunshot is heard inside the place that unsettles everyone. Will and his family, along with Snyder keep driving away from the bloc. Helena is at the top of a bridge and all of them watch with a look of concern and uncertainty how the drones are gathering around Los Angeles. Back to the Bowman´s van, we see how Snyder looks around at each one of the members of the family and then he suddenly takes what it seems like a tracker out of his jacket pocket and turns it on.

The next stop in this path is still uncertain for the Bowman´s.
