Q

Q) What are the current projects that you are working on?

A) Currently,I am shooting episodes for a new show called “The Best Years,” which is a one hourdrama about a group of students attending Charles University in Boston, which will begin airing summer of 2007 on the N network“The Best Years” comes from the creators of “Degrassi: The Next Generation," and stars Charity Shea (Alpha Dog) and Brandon Jay McLaren (She’s the Man). I have also recently completed shooting 2 pilots: "MVP," which is a drama about the lives of professional hockey players and their wives (loosely based on the British series "Footballer's Wives") and "Left Coast," which is a dramedy about a wealthy family that looses its fortune (due to some "shady" stock-market dealings) and must (reluctantly) relocate to a cheese farm in the country. If picked up, both shows will go into production this summer and air in the Fall of 2007.

Q) What can you tell us about the premise for the "Dresden Files"and about your character Ms. Timmons?

A) Ms. Timmons appears in the first episode of the "Dresden Files" – only she isn’t really Ms. Timmons!  She is a Skinwalker – a demon who has the ability to steal her victim’s skin and wear it – enabling her to impersonate whomever she wants.  In this episode – “Birds of a Feather” – the skinwalker has been hired by a mysterious person to kidnap a young boy named Scott, who seems to have “the gift,” and so she steals the skin of Ms. Timmons, Scott’s school teacher, in order to get close to him.  Scott, believing he is being followed, hires Dresden to protect him…thus pulling Dresden into the Skinwalker’s path.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?

A) The famous "Dresden Files," of course! That, and the interesting character of Ms. Timmons/the Skinwalker.

Q) What about your role was challenging?

A) When Ms. Timmons first appears, the audience doesn’t know that she is really a demon, so finding the right balance of holding that within the character and yet not giving it away was challenging.  Also, the Skinwalker must torture and beat Dresden in order to get the answers she wants.  I had quite a few bruises on my fists afterwards….let me tell you! The stuntmen (those guys really amaze me) wanted me to punch as hard as I could to make it look real and it didn’t hurt him at all.

Q) What was your most memorable moment from filming?

A) Definitely beating up Dresden (no offense Paul)! It was quite invigorating, despite the bruises it left me with.

Q) What is it like getting to work with such an amazing cast?

A) They were fantastic.  They were very kind and professional…and talented!  Here’s a bit of trivia – Paul Blackthorne is British, playing an American…and Terrence Mann (who plays Bob) is an American playing British.  They guys are swapping accents!

Q) Why should viewers take the time to tune in to "Dresden Files?"

A) They should tune in because the plot-lines are interesting, the actors are great and the production is beautiful.

Q) You're a singer and an actress. Is there anything else you would like to try your hand at?

A) I am studying psychoanalysis in my spare time.  Eventually, I plan to have my own practice as a psychotherapist. I would also love to have children!

Q) What do you do in your spare time?

A) I study!  There is lots and lots of reading.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A)
Thank you for your interest!
