Q

Q.  What is it about the show "Dancing With The Stars" that keeps bringing you back as one of the professional dancers?

A.  I guess it's my love of dance, I've had three children on the show so I feel connected with the show.  My three kids have won six times out of ten seasons.  Also there are a lot of professionals on the show that I have helped and taught in their careers.  I feel connected to the show and I love dance, the music, the orchestra, the costumes and the lighting.

Q.  You're paired with Florence Henderson, what are some of her strengths and her weaknesses?

A.  Her strength is her wonderful passion for life and her ability to practice hard and focus hard.  Her weakness is that we have to take it all in little chunks.  She definitely has everything else there but we have to take it in little chunks, little bites, in other words you don't want to swallow the whole steak you want to cut it up into little pieces.

Q.  Do you have any idea who your biggest competition might be?

A.  Actually no not really, I've just been totally focused on her and I'm just going to stay in that bubble and whatever happens, happens.  I'll find out on the day of the competition, that's kind of how I want to do it.

Q.  Have you had to do anything special prepare for the new season?

A.  Not really because I teach dancing all the time and I'm always dancing so I am constantly prepared.

Q.  What do you think the most challenging thing is about working on the show?

A.  Well I think the most challenging thing is you just have to really stay focused and you have to keep your eye on the goal and target and not get distracted.  The biggest challenge is not to allow distractions to get in the way.

Q.  Where do you see the longevity of the show?

A.  There are two things that all people like to do, everybody thinks they can sing and everybody thinks they can dance.  This show could go on for forever!   People love to dance and they love to sing so I think what makes the show interesting is you can see yourself in these people.  Those are the people who watch the show obviously and the people who don't watch it don't see anything.

Q.  What do you think it is about "Dancing With The Stars" that keeps drawing viewers in?

A.  One thing is the celebrity, for example, I'm dancing with the great Florence Henderson who is America's mom!  She's been in more living rooms than any other living actress on the planet Earth in over one hundred countries!  When you have people like that on the show you want to see them learn and grow and how they're going to react and what costumes they're going to wear this week.  I think this show is one of the few shows that's a happy show, that's kind of rare these days.

Q.  What would you like to say to all of the fans and supporters?

A.  Keep tuning in, keep watching, and please vote!  That keeps the show running!

Q.  Is there a place online where can go to keep up with you?

A.  They can go to corky.com and they can go to learningtodance.com and they can also find me on Facebook.
