Diane – America’s Next Top Model

By  |

Q) Who is your favorite designer?

A) My favorite designer is Roberto Cavalli because he has a lot of accessories that go with his clothing and I’m all about jewelry, belts, earrings, dangles and necklaces. I’m all about the accessories. I think that makes an outfit.

Q) Why did you decide to apply for the show?

A) Modeling is in my blood. Actually, fashion is in my blood. I love clothing and I love everything. To tell you the truth, it was just something spontaneous. I thought I’d try out because if I make it then I have the whole world to gain and nothing to lose, so, why not?

Q) What was your audition like?

A) It was a lot of auditioning. They basically told you if they liked you or not. If they did then they kept you. If not, then you had to get to steppin’!

Q) What was it like meeting Tyra Banks?

A) It was unreal! You know how you see people on TV and then you actually meet them and you’re like, “Uh…what do I say?” She’s just as crazy and outgoing in person as you see on TV.

Q) Why do you think the judges chose Bre over you?

A) I don’t know. That’s a good question that I need to ask. I honestly don’t know why they chose Bre over me. I honestly don’t know and that’s a good question.

Q) Did you watch any of the previous seasons of the show and if so, what did you learn from them?

A) Yes, I sure did! I watched a little bit of the first one and second one and I watched the whole third one. I watched a little bit of the fourth one, too. They don’t show behind the scenes, what really goes on like the stressful situations. In an hour, you can only put on so much. I thought it was easier said than done.

Q) Did you leave a note for anyone when you left? If so, who for and what did it say?

A) I did leave a note. I wrote to the whole house and told them it was a great experience, keep your heads up and keep your eyes on the prize.

Q) What did you like about living in the house?

A) I think I liked everything. The Jacuzzi was the main thing! You turn that sucker up and it gets all hot. After coming from a stressful photo shoot or a stressful day then you can just relax. The girls gathered around and we’d have talks. I think that was the best part. The Jacuzzi was the gathering spot in the house.

Q) Do you get to keep any of the items that they have on display in the house?

A) No, they said it was just for decorating the house. They were just props so we weren’t able to use them or take any of them with us. That sucked.

Q) Have you maintained your new look?

A) Oh yes! I’ve maintained my new look, plus, I have my own little two cents in their two! I like the jackets and all, I used to dress like that anyway, with a little of my two cents too.

Q) Did you ever spend time in the house practicing your facial expressions?

A) I was posing and trying to work on my facial expressions. I tried to work on my little walk because they said they didn’t really like it and that it had nothing. I put a little hip and a twist to it!

Q) What was it like getting to work with Janice Dickenson?

A) It was like a dream come true! So many people want to meet Janice and work with her. Having her as a photographer, she brings so much energy to the set. She’s just as crazy in real life. She’s blunt and she’s honest. She made everyone work to their full extent. I think this was one of the best photo shoots, in my opinion.

Q) Who do you plan on keeping in touch with?

A) I’m going to keep in touch with Nik and Coryn is pretty cool. Lisa’s cool, so I’ll keep in touch with those girls.

Q) Did it make you feel bad that the other girls for being so blunt were ragging on Lisa?

A) Well, I felt bad because she really has good intentions. She probably just had a lot. Crying in front of Janice was probably her trying to stand up in front of Janice, but Janice wouldn’t let her. I did feel kind of bad because I don’t like to see anybody cry. It may be a competition, but you still have to have class and you still have to be respectful of other people. I know if I was crying, I would want someone to tell me that it was going to be ok. I felt bad that she was crying and she was hurt because like she explained, that’s not really how she is. She just has a big heart and it came off in a different way.

Q) What are you going to do now that you are no longer on the show?

A) I am going to still pursue modeling. I’m going to go back home, go back to my job and find Boo Boo on 36th Street a little bit more. I’m going to still pursue modeling, though.

Q) Are you headed for the “Tyra Banks Show?”

A) Yes! I am headed to the “Tyra Banks Show!”

Q) What is your most memorable moment from being on the show?

A) I guess my breasts being taped down. That was the most memorable thing that sucked. It really hurt!

Q) Did you feel Mr. Jay wasn’t as sympathetic to you as he could have been?

A) No, I think he was. He told me I was still a pretty girl and not to worry. He also gave me a couple of minutes to get myself together. I think hew as sympathetic about the whole situation. He better be! Shoot! He doesn’t have any breasts so he doesn’t know how it feels!

Q) Who do you think will win?

A) I don’t know! Everybody has potential. You never know whom they are going to eliminate next. The person you think that could go all the way will probably go home in two weeks or something. I don’t know. I don’t have an idea.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A) Thank you for supporting me! You’ll see me soon! Shout out to everybody! Keep it real!
