Ebony – America’s Next Top Model

By  |

Q) Who is your favorite designer?

A) My favorite designer is Roberto Cavalli. I just love what he does with his Spring line. It’s ridiculous how he does his fabrics.

Q) Why did you decide to apply for the show?

A) I’ve been watching the show since 10th grade and this year I finally made the age limit so I was like, “I have to do the show!”

Q) What was your audition tape like?

A) My audition tape was pretty much about who I was and what I can bring to the table as a model. I talked about my uniqueness, my drive and my desire.

Q) What was it like meeting Tyra Banks?

A) Meeting Tyra was definitely a great experience. It was awesome! Just meeting her was so awesome and great. I loved it!

Q) Why do you think the judges chose Diane over you?

A) I think that they saw more potential in Diane as the model that she could become.

Q) Have you maintained your new look?

A) Yes, I love my new look that they gave me! I totally maintained it. I love my braids because they took twelve and a half hours so you know I’m going to milk it for all it’s worth!

Q) What did you like about living in the house?

A) I loved having my own bed. That was the best thing ever! I also liked being around such diverse girls. At first, it was difficult, but then it just got great.

Q) Who do you plan on keeping in touch with?

A) I definitely want to keep in touch with Lisa, Kim, Nicole and Bre. I want to try to keep in touch with all of the girls, not Cassandra though because we didn’t get along really that well. Most of them are really cool.

Q) What are you going to do now that you are no longer on the show?

A) Now I pursue my modeling career. I’m working with a few designers that I met up with. I’m also working with Maldonado designers.

Q) How did you feel being the youngest on the show?

A) Being the youngest wasn’t that different because I have four sisters and I’m not the youngest. It was like having twelve older sisters and being the youngest. I got to learn from them and at times it was definitely intimidating since I was around older girls with me being new to the game and right out of high school.

Q) At the end of the show, viewers saw you writing a letter. Who did you write to and what did you say?

A) I wrote a note to almost all of the girls. Each of them I wrote an individual thing saying how much I wish them luck, don’t get twisted and I love you guys!

Q) What is it like having to go back to high school after being on the show?

A) When I was on the show, I was in high school. All of my friends were really excited. My best friend James was supportive. My four best friends that I hang out with were really excited. Everyone was asking questions about it and it was definitely a buzz at my school.

Q) Who do you think will win?

A) That’s a hard one! I honestly don’t know. Really, it’s every model for herself so good luck to all of them!

Q) What is your most memorable moment from being on the show?

A) My most memorable moment was probably being in the confessional with Nicole. I miss our time in the confessional, just having fun, making jokes and laughing was awesome.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A) I love them! They are so awesome! Anyone who supports me is so awesome and I love them! And, of course, don’t get it twisted!
