DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) asks for an Uber after her Zumba class. She stops at the juice stand at the corner of the street and explains the clerk about her class and how she asked for an Uber since her sister took her car last night and didn’t give it back. When the Uber arrives she hops in and greets the Russian driver who happens to be a woman called Lisa. DJ begins to explore the car from the inside and it turns out to be very familiar. As she takes a closer look at the driver, she finds out that the woman is actually Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin). She explains herself that last night, after wrapping the rehearsal with her band, she thought it was a good idea to make some money and that´s how she ended up as an Uber driver. As the women are talking, a man named Larry gets in and then another man called Dennis does the same. Stephanie explains that since she is using Uber pool she has to share the car with the men.

DJ and Tommy (Dashiell Messitt/Fox Messitt) are playing in the kitchen when Max (Elias Harger) comes in announcing he is having a pool party with his girl Rose (McKenna Grace). DJ asks him if Tommy can join him and he agrees. Jackson and Ramona come downstairs. Jackson tells DJ that he has lice and when she tries to give it a closer look he steps back saying it might be gross. She manages to check on him noticing that he had put rice on his head in order to skip summer school. Sadly, he’s been caught.

Kimmy (Andrea Barber) comes downstairs looking pretty mad at the idea of Steve (Scott Weinger) not taking her in account to be his wedding planner so she plots something with the help of her daughter Ramona (Soni Bringas) to make him realize she is by far the best choice he has. Fernando (Juan Pablo Di Pace) joins the girls reminding them he is leaving soon and gives them a roll of bounty to wipe their tears. Stephanie calls Kimmy and DJ to the living room to tell them that she had received her Spotify check for her song “The Boy Next Door.” Kimmy and DJ take advantage of the situation and start to ask her to pay them back the money she borrowed from them. When Stephanie opens the envelope she finds that the pay check was for less than four dollars. DJ asks her if she has ever thought about getting a life coach, but her sister tells her that she can´t barely afford anything let alone a coach.

DJ begins to suggest that maybe she could find someone to support her and ends up revealing that she could be that person. Stephanie agrees and then DJ takes out a quite heavy book called Fixing Stephanie, the one she´s being writing since their teenage years. The first thing would be to take Stephanie for a morning run which ends with the girl and a broken ankle. Apparently, DJ raced Stephanie and when the latter tried to run through a backyard in order to win the house owner threw some water at her which made Stephanie put her feet on a hole and well, the rest is history. Fernando walks in and finds out what happened to Stephanie and believes that the accident happened since she was so distracted thinking about him leaving. Stephanie denies it, but the man is so wrapped up in himself that, as a way to keep him with her, he decides to sign the cast much to the girl´s request to not to do it. DJ hands Stephanie an agenda and asks her to take her time to think about her next five years plan, but the girl refuses to do it. Then, as a way to cheer her up, DJ stands and sings “I get knocked down but I get up again. You´re never going to keep mw down,” along with Kimmy and Fernando and the three of them end up suddenly dancing around the couch where Stephanie is in. Stephanie sings along with them.

Max, Tommy and Rose are enjoying the pool party while Ramona watches them. Suddenly, Rose claims that the water is too warm and then Max realizes that Tommy peed in it so he and Rose run out of the pool as fast as they can, leaving the baby alone inside. Taylor (Lucas Jaye), Max´s enemy, shows up and tries to make fun of Max referring to his pool party as “babies’ pool party,” which also includes an actual baby. Ramona decides to step aside and takes Tommy with her. Taylor confesses to Max that Rose was his girlfriend in kindergarten and it only lasted three recesses and wasn’t even that important to her. However, Taylor offers her to join him in is new pool where he even has a life saver with her name on it. He walks away, leaving a confused and an embarrassed Rose behind.

Jackson returns from summer school and is surprised to find Stephanie wearing a cast. The girl explains what happened and confesses that now she has to spend the next three months sitting on that couchm which makes Jackson jealous since he couldn’t do it. Steve walks in and is also amazed to see Stephanie’s current state so she explains to him as well what happened to her. He says that Kimmy sent him a very weird text and when he is reading it out loud to them the lights go off. Ramona comes out from the kitchen wearing a red kimono and throws some lights upstairs where Kimmy comes out also wearing the same kimono and starts a show. She unravels a landscape that is hanging from the stairs, showing Mount Fiji. When she is about to come down, she trips and rolls the stairs before everyone´s astonished look. She manages to stand up and continues with the show. She asks DJ to pretend to be CJ (Virginia Williams) and wraps her along with Steve in a paper blanket then Ramona throws some paper petals over Steve. DJ then proceeds to play the drums. Both of them are led into the kitchen when another surprise is awaiting them. The four of them move to the other side of the house leaving Stephanie behind. Once in the kitchen, DJ and Steve (or we´d rather say Steve-San and Dijon) are asked to take a sit while Kimmy shows them their culinary skills at the very Japanese style. Ramona is helping her along the way. When she finishes, she throws a piece of meat in Steve´s mouth and he is delighted, finally agreeing on hiring her as his wedding planner. After a while, Stephanie walks in and Kimmy throws a piece of meat at her as well earning a thumbs up from the woman.

The next day, DJ prepares a very green Kale milkshake for Stephanie before they start with their day routine. Then, Stephanie confesses that she will never be as perfect as she is but DJ refuses to believe she is perfect at all. Stephanie enlists a reason why she believes her sister is a role model. For example, the fact that she is a great mom, how she eats healthy and even wears heels on a Saturday among other things. Then, DJ describes a series of things why she believes she is not, something like how she keeps a hidden stash of double stuffed oreos under the broccoli, how she keep her trashy romantic novels under her self-help books and how she cries for five minutes every Friday just to keep up. She opens her heart to Stephanie about her feelings for her family and for Matt, but the younger woman says that she spends a lot of time taking care of others that she forgets to take care of herself. It seems that the roles have turned around. Stephanie has made her five year plan and she feels that is helping her to be clearer about what she wants. DJ confesses to her that she knows she has a great potential and how talented she is that she just wants to help her to reach it. Stephanie also confesses that watching her being such a good mother has made her reconsider her choices and now she wants to be a mother too, someday.

The heart felt moment is broken up when Kimmy enters the kitchen and asks for DJ´s double stuffed oreos, which she happens to love to eat while reading DJ´s romantic trashy novels. DJ seems to be surprised at Kimmy knowing all what she considered to be a secret and when she asks her where she found out about all that, she says that every Friday while she cries in her room.

The Fuller family is at the backyard enjoying of a sunny day when Max enters with Taylor while covering his eyes. He shows him the Aqua Bounce 3000 he rented for Rose. Taylor looks surprised at it and Rose is just delighted so she gives Max a hand turkey she has made for him. Taylor says that he may have won a battle, but not the war and then leaves. Fernando arrives announcing he is moving next door. Then he walks out dramatically, but he returns saying that he just remember they are tenting his place for termites so he is back and all the kids start shooting at him with water guns.

Just another regular day at the Fuller´s. Keep track of the whole season recap on Starry Constellation Magazine!
