Q) What are the current projects that you are working on?

A) I am just working out here in Las Vegas. This is number one!

Q) You headline the number one comedy show on the strip called “Flamingo Las Vegas.” How do you feel knowing that you have been renewed for two more years?

A) It’s great! It’s wonderful to be here at the Flamingo. I’m here to do what I love to do and I enjoy what I do.

Q) You also have a weekly syndicated radio show called “Bits on The Strip,” which features numerous comedic guests. Who has been your favorite guest?

A) They are all great. They are all my friends. Jerry Seinfeld is my best friend so he’s good. Sinbad, Jay Leno and Wayne Brady are funny. This is a different type of format to just sit down and talk to the entertainers with questions that haven’t been asked before.

Q) What advice do you have for up and coming comics?

A) It’s pretty difficult. Make sure your honest to yourself and write new jokes. Read everything you can.

Q) What has been your most memorable moment from your three decades of performing?

A) They are all good! I guess it was the first night I performed at Caesar’s Palace, back in 1981. It was a great thing! It was the top hotel in the city. I worked with Tom Jones and Frank Sinatra. It was amazing.

Q) Why did you originally want to become a comedian?

A) It was just because it is fun. It makes people happy and it makes you happy.

Q) Your most recognized material is interactive with the audience. Why is that important to you?

A) That’s the really entertaining part. You have fun getting into conversation. That’s what I do and I like doing it. That’s just me, I am a people person.

Q) What do you do in your spare time?

A) I travel around the world.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A) Keep on laughing. Keep on loving. Keep on living. That’s the most important thing! When you stop laughing, you stop loving and you stop living then you’re out of it. Enjoy your life. Laugh it up! No matter what your situation is, just keep on laughing!
