Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) At the moment, I am not working on anything specific. I’m just enjoying every day and having fun.

Q) Please tell us about your character Paige in the movie Rufus and how she was described to you.

A) Paige is an independent, intelligent, aspiring reporter. The combination of her intense drive to become a journalist and her unique personality. She isn’t the most popular at school. Although, throughout the film, she finds friendship in Manny (Davis Cleveland) and Rufus (Jace Norman).

Q) What made you want to be a part of the film?

A) I wanted to be a part of this film because it emphasized the importance of friendship and being true to yourself. I also really liked how independent, loyal and strong Paige is.

Q) How is your character Paige different/alike from your role as Pepper on “Bella and The Bulldogs?”

A) Paige isn’t as social compared to Pepper. Also, Paige is also more collected while Pepper can be a little all over the place over the place with her panic attacks and many, many interests. They are similar because they both aren’t ashamed to be themselves and they both share a similar level of loyalty and passion.

Q) Was there instant chemistry when you and your Rufus costars began working together or did you spend some time together to bond?

A) The cast and I bonded really well during the audition process. I actually knew Jace long before the movie so we already had an established chemistry. I found that spending time together in Canada also helped build our relationships with another. And even today we still hang out!

Q) What is it about Rufus that intrigues Paige?

A) Paige is a logical girl, which keeps her from taking risks. I think she is intrigued with Rufus because he isn’t afraid to be spontaneous and care free.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming the movie?

A) Some of the most memorable moments from filming Rufus would have to off of set and hanging out. The shenanigans and sense of support really made my experience an unforgettable one!

Q) What was your favorite part of filming in Vancouver?

A) Vancouver is extremely beautiful! So, it was nice to be a tourist and explore new places.

Q) What makes Nickelodeon the right fit for the movie?

A) Nickelodeon is perfect for this movie because it relates to the network’s audience. Rufus really embodies the struggles that many kids in middle school and high school have with finding an identity and being understood.

Q) What do you hope people take away from watching Rufus?

A) I hope what people take away from this movie is that it is okay to stand out. Your quirks and passions are what make you, you, and you don’t want to lose that by trying to fit in.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media has become a prominent way of connecting for this generation. I have always valued in person contact, but I have found that social media has made connecting with fans much easier and it is very gratifying to be able to know and hear from those I’m reaching through my work.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I dearly love and appreciate you all. Stay passionate, determined and weird!
