Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) It’s been a very busy year for me so far, I have Chocolate City 2: Vegas Battle, Sharknado 4 and I just wrapped a Netflix original movie.

Q) What made you want to be a part of Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens?

A) People love Sharknado! It’s becoming a cult classic if you wouldn’t consider it that already. But more than that, it has become the iconic must watch event of the summer, giving viewers a chance to kick back and have fun. It’s funny, it’s entertaining and it’s different from anything I’ve ever done so I went for it.

Q) Was there anything you added to Gabrielle that wasn’t originally scripted for you?

A) Yes, that’s the fun part of acting. You get to take what is written on paper and bring it to life. You get to create this character. I think it was really fun to bring out Gabrielle’s inner tough girl.

Q) What did you find the most challenging part of filming?

A) I think the schedule was challenging because we had A LOT to film in so little time. It was an exhilarating experience.

Q) Did you have to do anything to prepare for this role?

A) Not exactly. I booked the role two days before filming. The most preparing I did for the role was trying to cut out some carbs in my diet because my mid-drift was going to be showing. [laughs]

Q) Was there instant chemistry when the cast began working together?

A) Yes, between Masiela Lusha and I who plays Gemini in the movie. We clicked pretty quickly. Cody Linley who plays Matt Shepard and I are both shy and introverts. He and I definitely had to warm up to one another, but once we did that it was smooth throughout filming.

Q) It is quite a large cast, but who would you like to have more scenes or didn’t get to work with at all that you would have liked to share some screen time with?

A) It was very large! I think I probably would have love to have scenes with Tara Reid who plays April Shepard. I got to meet her and she was very sweet, but we didn’t actually have the opportunity to work together.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming?

A) I don’t think I’ve ever worked with a green screen before so that was pretty epic for me. Being up in a harness was interesting, yet pretty uncomfortable!

Q) What do you think it is about the Sharknado films that has made it so popular?

A) People love to be entertained and that is the definition of Sharknado! You can’t NOT watch that movie and not enjoy it. It’s brilliant.

Q) You are a part of social media. Are you looking forward to the instant fan feedback you will receive?

A) Yes, I am. I love knowing what others feel about the projects I’m a part of and I feel connected to the fans in that way.

Q) Is there anything else about your time on Sharknado 4 that you would like to be sure fans know?

A) That it was worth watching! Sharknado4 will not disappoint fans, upping the ante in shark carnage, cameos, set locations, storyline and action. The movie is filled with appearances from some of entertainment and sports history’s most beloved faces appearing in unexpected/surprising roles. I’m glad I got to be a part of it!

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you for always supporting me! There’s a lot more coming! Also, connect with me on social media!
