Q) What can you tease will be new in Season Two of “Orange Is The New Black” and with Flaca?

A) I’m definitely in it! I can tell you that. I can’t really talk much about my character. I can just say that she does things that are kind of surprising and fun. You’re going to laugh.

Q) We’ve seen a photo from a Job Fair at Litchfield that shows Flaca participating. What kind of job is Flaca interested in?

A) I can’t really say much. It’s in the episode…You have to watch! I just know it’s maybe something in an office because I feel like the outfit she picked would definitely be to work in an office.

Q) How would you describe Flaca’s sense of style?

A) Like myself, Flaca likes to standout. I have also added to Flaca a lot. She has that eyeliner situation and she doesn’t wear it like everyone else. She puts a lot on and she has her teardrop. She wears her uniform a little bit different with her socks over her pants. Even if we all have to look the same, Flaca is going to find a way to stand out.

Q) Speaking of her unique appearance, what did you add to Flaca that wasn’t originally scripted for you?

A) Like I said, the clothes. They didn’t tell me to put my socks over my pants. I thought Flaca is a very feisty Latina and they were the ones who put on my makeup and made her look like that. I added to that by being a little different. With the whole eyeliner thing, she used eyeliner for lipstick. You see the gothic makeup for the Job Fair and that’s actually eyeliner on my lips.

Q) Where do you think Flaca gets her darker nature from?

A) I don’t even know. I am thinking it is the music she listens to and I am looking forward to finding out why she is how she is. I still don’t know. I find it really interesting and I can’t wait to know more about her.

Q) We’ve seen you filming with a lot more of the cast members this season. Who have you not yet worked with that you would love to have a scene with?

A) Definitely Jason Biggs because he is always with Piper (Taylor Schilling). That’s someone who I haven’t worked a lot with. We work in a lot of groups in the kitchen. So, I just felt like I got to work more with new people for Season Two. I’m excited to watch that.

Q) Lorraine Toussaint guest stars this season. Who would you like to see make an appearance in Season Three?

A) Could Johnny Depp be a police officer? I really don’t know who I would want to have guest star. Who can end up in prison with me? I know that Rosie O’Donnell is dying to come on and I think it would be really fun to have her in one of the episodes.

Q) Ellen Page has also expressed interest in guest starring.

A) That would be awesome! I can totally see that.

Q) What have been some of your most memorable moments from filming “Orange Is The New Black?”

A) We’re like a big family on set. We go to each other’s rooms and gossip all day because we have scenes and then we’ll take a break. I just enjoy talking with them. We braid each other’s hair. We’re always eating because we have craft services and there is always something new every thirty minutes. Everything is just fun for me!

Q) The cast seems so close. Who are you closest with offset?

A) I can’t really say I’m closest to one. I hang out with a lot of the girls. I hang out a lot with Vicky Jeudy. We go to church together. Madeline Brewer, who played Tricia, I hang out with her. I just went shopping with Diane Guerrero. We’re really close outside of prison also. I hang out with Danielle Brooks and she took me to a Broadway show. I’m friends with all of them. Taryn [Manning] is a musician so we hang out and talk about music. We all have different interests. Every interest is different. I hang out with a bunch of the girls.

Q) You are a part of social networking sites. Are you looking forward to the instant fan feedback you’ll be receiving when the episodes begin to air?

A) Oh yeah! I can’t wait. I’m so excited to watch it. Every day is like Christmas for me. So, watching it is going to be like a dream. I can’t wait! I’m going to be so surprised. There is going to be every emotion in every episode. It’s going to be super exciting!

Q) You have such great style. What are some quick fashion tips you can share with fans?

A) I always make my friends wear lipstick. I don’t leave the house without a lip color. I just feel like a woman when I wear lipstick. I’m really into hats, all types. I always have a hat for my look. This whole winter I’ve been wearing little booties, with the zipper on the side. I like to look different like Flaca. So, I go thrift shopping and I just pick out things I know no one else has and I revamp it. I have an Etsy line called Hollywood Gypsy and it is definitely inspired by vintage and I make it contemporary. Just be outspoken. I like to standout. It’s part of my personality.

Q) Is there anything else about Season Two that you would like to tease?

A) I just want to say that it has definitely helped me grow as an actress because working with Lorraine, Kate Mulgrew, Selenis Leyva, Taylor Schilling and Laura Prepon. I feel like such a better actress just being in a scene with them. I have to be on my A-Game. I fee like Season Two everybody gets really, really funny. You are not going to want to stop watching. I really recommend you get some takeout and bottles of water because you are going to be there all day. You’re not going to want to stop!
