Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) This past Spring I did a voiceover for an animated movie Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie for Nickelodeon. I am the voice of Stinky Peterson. I also just wrapped on a film project called Cupid’s Proxy. I play Justin who is Cupid’s proxy. Both will be out in 2017. I am continually working on the animated series doing voiceover for “Shimmer and Shine” and “Bubble Guppies.”

Q) What made you want to audition for Legends of the Hidden Temple?

A) I love action movies and this one has a lot of action. When they sent me the audition, I was really excited because I have always wanted to do a movie like Legends.

Q) How was your character Dudley originally described to you?

A) Well, I knew he was the youngest brother, but the really cool thing is that Dudley can talk to animals.

Q) What did you find challenging about the role?

A) There was such a great team of people around us from our director, Joe Menendez, to all of the Nickelodeon people that they tried to make it as easy as possible for us. Some of the scenes were really tricky to shoot. I guess I would say that was challenging. We had to be harnessed in at times to make sure we were all safe and then they would cut and bring in our stunt doubles. Sometimes it was also hard because you have to make time for schooling. No matter what, your school hours have to be done even if that means you can’t get to a scene that needs to be shot. We were juggling our schedules on some days trying to get school finished up so we could get the scenes we needed.

Q) Was there something you personally added to Dudley?

A) I tried to just treat Dudley like a regular kid. I tried to let some of my personality come through. Dudley would come up with solutions by mistake and it added some laughs to some scary situations.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming Legends?

A) One day we had a scene where Isabela [Moner] and I were supposed to be drowning in quicksand. Of course, it really wasn’t quicksand, but it looks so much like it. We had to do several takes of it and it was such a mess. We would have to go and get cleaned up and start over. It took forever to get that stuff off of us.

Q) What do you think it is about Nickelodeon that makes it such a great place for the movie?

A) The movie is based on the game show in the 90’s that was on Nickelodeon hosted by Kirk Fogg. It still has such a fanbase. We were just at Comic Con in New York City and there were so many people there that were excited for the movie. I am really excited for all of them to see this.

Q) How do you plan to celebrate the movie premiere?

A) That is Thanksgiving weekend. It actually comes out on Saturday, Nov. 26th. The 27th is my birthday. I think we are going to have some friends over, probably get a pizza, make some popcorn and watch it together.

Q) You are a part of social media. Are you looking forward to the fan feedback you are going to receive?

A) I love hearing what people have to say. I really appreciate hearing from people on social media. My parents and the rest of my team supervise my accounts since I am not old enough to take care of all of that, but we go through it and read it together.

Q) What else do you want to be sure fans know about Legends of the Hidden Temple?

A) I really think they will like it a lot. Again, it is full of action and surprises. The sets they built were incredible and look so real. We had so much fun making it and I think people will be able to tell that.
