Q) What are the current projects that you are working on?

A) I am currently doing “30 Rock,” which is a new half hour comedy on NBC. It stars Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin.

Q) Please tell us the premise for your show “30 Rock” and your character Frank.

A) I am a regular on the show. Tina Fey plays the head writer of a sketch comedy show and I play one of the writers.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?

A) I read it and it was a quality project. Tina Fey is top quality, right there. It shoots in New York, where I live, so I didn’t have to move to LA. When Alec came on, it was a huge bonus! I think when I was offered the role he wasn’t attached to the project yet.

Q) What is it like working with Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin?

A) It’s great! They are very cool, very hard working, very funny and open minded to ideas.

Q) What is the most challenging aspect of your role?

A) I would say for me it’s the hours. I do stand up comedy so I am used to staying up late. With this show, I have to get up very early. I sometimes have to be on set at 6am and I am used to going to bed at 4am or 5am.

Q) You have great comedic timing. Is that something you are constantly working at or does it come natural to you?

A) I think it is something that you are always working on. As far as acting, I do tend to think comedic so it does come most naturally to me. With anything, to do it well, it takes hard work.

Q) What is your most memorable moment from filming?

A) The first audition that I went on for the show for Tina was memorable. When you audition, you want to focus and give it your best. Another memorable moment would be my first scene with Alec Baldwin. We improvised around a bit and it was my first time working with him. Some of the other guys I’ve worked with in the past like Tracy Morgan. I’ve known him over ten years and getting to work with him is fun. Also, for the first episode, we had a cast and crew party where we got together to watch the show. That was a lot of fun! I had my mom come up and be my guest for that.

Q) Why should viewers tune in to watch “30 Rock?”

A) I think it’s a smart and funny, fast paced show. I think viewers are craving comedy because due to all of the glutinous reality programming, there isn’t a lot of comedy on TV anymore. I think this show is, actually, very well done.

Q) What has been your favorite project to work on?

A) I’ve done so many and they’ve all been different. American Splendor was great. I did this movie The Darwin Awards that is coming out and it was great. Doing my own stand up comedy is what I like the best.

Q) What do you do in your spare time?

A) The spare time I had today was used to clean up my apartment. I am trying to get organized because I am a complete unorganized mess. It seems like if I have any spare time, that’s what I do. I also like to watch Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme movies, too.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A) Thanks for being there! I am a comedian to make people laugh and entertain people. There is no comedy without an audience so thanks for being there!
