Q) What are the current projects that you are working on?

A) In addition to “CSI: Miami,” my production company, Kiss the Sky Productions, currently has several feature films in development. I’m also in a newfilmRain (http://www.rainfilm.com) with Robert Loggia and Faye Dunaway and a great new face… check out the website.

Q) You play a coroner on “CSI: Miami.” How did you research the role?

A) There’s a female coroner in the LAPD’s office that I spent quite a while working with. She’s very spicy, likes to wear short skirts and is crazy fun. I attended live autopsy sessions and got the feel of what it’s like to do this job for real. It was quite amazing.

Q) What changes can viewers expect to see with this season?

A) Actually we’re shooting season five this year (amazing how quickly time passes.) We have to be very careful about plotlines and so on. So, all I can say is expect more of the same great stuff. There’s gonna’ be a murder and we’re gonna’ solve it.

Q) What is it about the show that originally intrigued you?

A) I like the fact that I play a glamorous coroner, who is strong and knows what her skills can do to help people who can no longer speak for themselves.

Q) What is a typical day of filming like for you?

A) There are no typical days. We’re basically shooting a one hour feature film every eight or nine days, so it’s very crazy. There are many eighteen hour days with 4:30 am call times. It’s no picnic, but I love what I do and what this show and this role allow me to do.

Q) What is it about the show that continues to draw viewers in?

A) I think the Miami connection is a draw. But, in all honesty, this is one of the most beautifully shot television shows on the air. It’s so colorful, it jumps right off the screen. The crew does an amazing job and I know we all get amazing amounts of fan mail from all over the world, so people seem to enjoy the cast and the work we do.

Q) We know you also have a film called Rain coming out. What can you tell us about the premise and your character?

A) You’ll have to go see it to find out!! It’s a complicated role. I love it.

Q) How was getting to work with direct Craig DiBona on the film?

A) It was very satisfying.

Q) You are known for being an amazing stage actress. Do you have any plans to return in the near future?

A) I would love to return to Broadway someday. My first love is dance, so that would be a joy.

Q) What do you do in your spare time?

A) I’ve been working on these other projects, so sleep is a luxury. I have not much spare time left.

Q) What is your latest obsession?

A) It would be getting these project going and these movies made. I am looking forward to being a producer and making great films.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A) Thanks for all the kind words and wonderful letters. It’s a joy to be on the #1 show around the world. I feel very blessed and very lucky to reach so many people. Keep watching, everybody!
