Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Grunge Pop/Rock

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) The Beatles, Bee Gees and Killers

Q) How did the band get their name?

A) We found this really rock-n’-roll looking dude in a 1970’s Little Rock High School Yearbook and his name was Knox Hamilton.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Never My Love.”

A) “Never My Love” is one of the greatest love songs ever written. We wanted to honor the association by doing it justice.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) The lyrics tell a story of a love that surpasses emotion and doesn’t quit, which is what we’re all looking for.

Q) Which track off your upcoming album The Heights means the most to you and why?

A) The title track “The Heights.” It was the first song I wrote after being home from our first tour and I’ll never forget that feeling of being home and realizing I left a dream to pursue another.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) It’s different with every song. I’ve had songs come from things my wife said in passing to hearing the catchy sound my car makes when you open the door with the keys still in the ignition.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) We’re heavily involved in the entire process from writing to mixing, whether it is hands on or collaboration with the producer or mixer.

Q) What can fans expect from a live Knox Hamilton performance?

A) Rock-n’-roll that will take your breath away.

Q) What songs off The Heights are you most looking to performing live?

A) We really love performing the title track and a song called “Sight For Sore Eyes,” which we hope will be a fan favorite.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Sir Paul McCartney, Brandon Flowers, Kings of Leon and John Mayer – all heroes of ours.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Sometimes it’s difficult to meet everyone at a show so we try to connect with as many of our Familton as we can on the socials.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you for your patience and love. We hope to repay every one of you by coming to your city and personally embarrass you in front of your friends and family.
