Q.  What are the current projects that you are working on?

A.  Right now I’m doing a TV show for NBC and Discovery Kids called “Flight 29 Down.”  There are a couple of other things that I might do right now, we don’t film in L.A., we film in Hawaii.  It kind of depends on my schedule but primarily I’m working on the show right now.

Q.  What can you tell us about the show “Flight 29 Down” and your role on the show?

A.  Well, I play Taylor and Taylor is dumb as a fox, she always gets what she wants but there is not a whole lot of smarts up there.  She’s a great character to play, a lot of fun, I get really good lines.  The show is about a handful of kids that go to Micronesia on kind of a field trip.  There are two planes and one of the planes with the teacher on it makes it and we don’t, we crash on a deserted island, there is no civilization and we have to try and survive and get back home.

Q.  What made you want to be a part of this show?

A.  I read the script and I thought it would be a lot of fun, I haven’t really worked on a show that is totally outside, it’s all about wilderness.  The character that I play is great and it so happens that a lot of my good friends were also working on the show.  So, I got to be in a really cool work environment with some of my really close friends.

Q.  How has it been working with a cast of actors around your own age?

A.  I think it is really wonderful, I made some close friends and I got to know some of my old friends a lot better.  Even now after we did the first season we all still hang out, we’re all together a lot.  It’s kind of unusual for a TV show or something like that, we got really close like a family so I think it’s great.

Q.  Do you have a most memorable moment from filming the show?

A.  I think my most memorable moment was falling asleep during a shot and everybody pilling their trash on top of me, and I didn’t know.  This is all on film, they were filming this and taking pictures and I didn’t wake up and I was told about it later.  Then I saw the film and then I saw the pictures and I was like, “wow, I really was out!”

Q.  How has it been tackling a leading role on “Flight 29 Down” as opposed to previous shows that you’ve guest starred on?

A.  Well, it really teaches you a lot about responsibility and scheduling.  I work all day, every day, five days a week and I was up before the sun rose and I got home after dark.  It teaches you a lot about being on time and being ready, I think really it teaches you how to manage everything.  Because, if you don’t, the show still goes on without you whether or not you feel you are ready, you kind of just have to go.

Q.  What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

A.  In my spare time I take a couple college classes here and there when I can.  If I don’t have much time, I read a lot of books and I see a lot of independent movies with my friends.  Or, if I can I like to spend time with my close friends because we all have busy schedules and it’s so hard to get together all the time.  I try and keep in touch with my really close friends

Q.  Is there a summer movie that you’re interested in checking out?

A.  I really, really enjoyed Wedding Crashers, but I’m looking forward to seeing The 40 Year Old Virgin.  I love the cast of The 40 Year Old Virgin, it’s kind of like Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn, all those guys are a part of this group of really funny comedians that I really enjoy. So, hopefully it will be as good as their last stuff!

Q.  What is your latest obsession, are you into any particular sport, book or activity?

A.  I am really into an author by the name of Chuck Palahniuk.  He wrote Fight Club and I just recently read his newest book and I went to a book signing and everything.  He has the knack for writing these really weird, bizarre, sometimes really scary stories that draw you in a lot of times more than movies do.  I really enjoy his writing, I’ve read pretty much all of his books.

Q.  What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A.  I would like to say stay in school, keep a good head on your shoulders, always strive to be the best because it gets you far, I really believe that!  Keep watching “29 Down!”
