AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, airs Wednesdays at 8 PM ET/PT on UPN

Q) Who is your favorite designer?

A) I like Roberto Cavalli because I just love his runway.

Q) Why did you decide to apply for the show?

A) I have been a huge fan ever since the first season. Just by chance I was in Kansas City when they had an open call. I had missed all the ones in California already and I decided that this was God going to open a door for me. It was just by chance!

Q) Did you have to audition for the show?

A) I had my first audition in Kansas and then they called me back and wanted me to go to Houston. I made that and then I made the semifinals in LA.

Q) What was it like meeting Tyra Banks?

A) I was in complete shock! She just looks just like a painting; she’s so beautiful. I was star struck the entire time! Even at judging I’d stare at her the entire time. She is so smart, she is like the best businesswoman ever and she’s gorgeous!

Q) What did you like most about living in the loft?

A) I really liked getting close with the girls. It was just a gorgeous place to live. It was really fun to get to know the girls and becoming good friends with them.

Q) What did you learn most about modeling from the show?

A) I learned that I really need to study my face. Runway is my favorite thing to do and I didn’t have any problems with that. So, it’d probably be that I need to study myself in front of a mirror. Janice said that a model should always look in a mirror. You think that models do that to be conceited, but she said models should always look in a mirror to know exactly how they appear.

Q) What was your favorite competition and why?

A) I thought the potato sack competition was fun and the one at Kmart was cool, too. I liked them because it involved runway and I knew it was the one thing that I could do.

Q) Do people recognize you on the street?

A) Yes! It is really fun! I was in Disneyland a few weeks ago and a bunch of girls came up to me screaming and yelling and wanting to take pictures. I was at an arena football game and some girl took a picture of me in the bathroom, of all places! More and more people recognize me now and it’s been fun!

Q) Do you have advice for contestants who try out in the future?

A) Just be yourself. Don’t be fake! In the semifinals, Tyra knew that the dress I had on wasn’t mine. They can see right through you. Just go and be yourself 110%.

Q) What are you going to do now that you are no longer on the program?

A) After watching the show, I’m a 110% sure that modeling is what I want to do. I am just excited to get on the runway and start working. Being on the show just really showed me that this is what I want to do. I just want to get out there and start working as soon as possible!

Q) Who was your favorite judge and why?

A) I think Janice was my favorite judge because she tells it like it is. She is honest and she doesn’t do it to be mean. She just knows what she has been talking about because she has been a model since the 80’s. I just loved her honesty and she was really fun too. She’s been through everything that you can imagine.

Q) Have you been practicing your facial expressions to improve for photos?

A) I’ve been trying to work on that. All I can do is stare in a mirror. Yeah, I’m definitely working on it!

Q) Who do you plan on keeping in touch with from the show?

A) I became really close to Rebecca, Kahlen, Noelle and Brita.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters of you and the show?

A) Thank you so much! I don’t know if there are that many of them, but to the people who saw who I really was, I know I had a few bad pictures, but thank you for supporting me. I’ve had a lot of really nice people come up to me and encourage me. It’s meant a lot!
