Q) How did you get into this crazy biz?

A) I was “discovered” at the DMV when I was sixteen years old getting my driver’s license. A scout came up to me, and I signed with a small local agency in North Carolina. I soon booked a national skin care commercial! It sky rocketed from there.

Q) And you modelled first?

A) Modelling first introduced me to the business side of acting. So yes, in a way it was my stepping stone into my career as an actress.

Q) Did you go to acting school?

A) Yes. I have been to countless acting schools in Los Angeles. I love working on my craft.

Q) Tell us about those big breaks…

A) I started with one commercial, and then I went straight into auditioning for films and TV. I landed some small roles on network shows and films, and that lead me into my career with lead and supporting roles in TV movies.

Q) How long have you been in Los Angeles?

A) I have only lived here for 3.5 years!

Q) Did it take you long to get work?

A) I was very lucky. It did not take me long.

Q) Lifetime seem to like you – you’ve done a few movies for them!

A) Yes! I am very fortunate. The Lifetime Network has picked up a lot of my recent feature films!

Q) What’s your latest one with them about?

A) The Carpenter’s Daughter now called The Perfect Daughter and is about the struggles and life changing events that all teenagers face in a high school environment. I played the mean girl. I had a blast.

Q) Who directed that one?

A) Brian Herzlinger, who is a great director. He allowed me to play around with the dialogue. Every other take we tried something new!

Q) Is there a common thread amongst all Lifetime movies?

A) Yes. One thing I love about Lifetime is their ability to send an ethical, honest message to all ages in all of their films. Everyone can relate to their content in one way or another.
