Q) What are the current projects that you are working on?

A) I am working on a bunch of things. I am working on a couple of independent movies and I am writing.

Q) You were recently on an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy.” Please tell us about your character.

A) My character was a young mother whose daughter was suspected of leaving a baby to die in a bathroom. It turned out not to be my daughter’s child, though.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?

A) It’s a great show. It’s a really popular show, but it’s also very well written. I really like the characters and I like the show.

Q) What was your most memorable moment while filming?

A) I got along really well with the other actors that I was working with. The director was fantastic, as well. It was a great week and a really great experience.

Q) What was it like working with Kate Walsh?

A) She’s really cool! She’s is very smart and talented. I liked her a lot!

Q) You were also recently on the new CBS show “Smith.” How do you feel taking part in a brand new series?

A) It was exciting! John Wells is a really amazing creator and such a smart guy. To work with people of that caliber and to be at the ground floor of something (with all of the design elements and people really crafting a show from the beginning) was a really interesting experience.

Q) What has been your favorite project to work on?

A) I really liked “Desperate Housewives.” It was really fun! I also had a great time working on the show “Six Feet Under.”

Q) Who would you most like to work with in the future?

A) My dream is probably to work with Paul Thomas Anderson. I think he’s a phenomenal film maker. I love his movies and I love the way he shoots actors. He gives them freedom and it’s great the way he trusts them. I just respect his work so much and I would love to be a part of anything he did.

Q) What do you do in your spare time?

A) Right now, I am writing a lot and I take a lot of classes. My husband owns a production company so I am constantly watching what he is doing and being a part of his business.

Q) What is your latest obsession? A book? A sport? A movie? A band?

A) I am really into the show “Lost.” I rented most of them and watched them all in a row. It became an insane obsession, actually. I also started reading Sci Fi. A friend of mine suggested I start reading Sci Fi and I am loving that. I love female Sci Fi writers.
