Q) What made you want to be a part of the series “Daytime Divas?”

A) When Mike Chessler and Chris Alberghini reached out to me asking if I would be interested in reading for Leon, I immediately knew that “Daytime Divas” was going to be an amazing set to be on. Mike and Chris really know how to put together a great group, but most importantly every set I’ve been fortunate to be on with them has been like a family instantly.

Q) How was your character Leon originally described to you?

A) Leon was described to be as an ambitious PA who has a secret workplace affair with one of the hosts.

Q) What did you find challenging about your role?

A) The most challenging thing for me on the show was trying not to break character when I had scenes with Tichina Arnold. Tichina is so funny, the things we came up with on-set had the entire crew in stitches.

Q) Where did you connect with the character?

A) Like Leon I’m very much ambitious and flirtatious. Leon and I can be very unconventional when dealing with challenges. Leon aspires to produce on the show and, like him, I have big aspirations.

Q) Were you familiar with any of your costars before working with them on “Daytime Divas?”

A) I had never worked with any of the actors from “Daytime Divas” before. However, we quickly developed a strong rapport with one another. The ladies are so talented, powerful, beautiful and funny that everyone on set fell in love with them and that made it really easy for me to get into character.

Q) What makes VH1 a perfect fit for the show?

A) VH1 has a dynamic and diverse audience. This show could appeal to many people who come from different backgrounds and walks of life. It’s important for us (the cast) to have productive dialogue. And VH1 has a great platform to tell this story.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming?

A) It would probably be the sex scene I had with a co-star, as filming sex scenes could be very uncomfortable. There was a particular scene that took place in a “tight space” and made it a memorable on set.

Q) What have you taken away from your time working on “Daytime Divas?”

A) I really had an opportunity to bond well with the people on the show; not just the other actors who were amazing to get to know and work with but also the crew (the grips and craft service people and Pas). I’m reminded every day on set just how many talented and hardworking people it takes to put a show like this together and I am grateful I get to be a part of it.

Q) You are a part of social media. Are you looking forward to the instant fan feedback you’re going to receive to the show?

A) Yes! I am excited about it and of course hoping for positive feedback. I love interacting with my fans and social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter. It’s a great way to keep engaged with the people who support me and follow me and the show.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) To all my present and future fans and supporters I have to most importantly say thank you. You are the reason I’m able to do what I do. I truly love all of my fans and supporters of my work. My supporters keep me going every day and with that “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.”
