Olivia Holt – I Didn’t Do It

Q) Please tell us the premise for “I Didn’t Do It” and about your character Lindy.

A) “I Didn’t Do It” is surrounded by these five best friends who are making their way through high school, getting themselves stuck in these crazy situations. As long as they stick together, there’s nothing they can’t handle. The unique part about the show is that eachepisode starts at the ending and the rest is a flashback. My character, Lindy Watson, is not only a fraternal twin, but she is also a very intelligent and passionate girl. She is a one upper, but in the best possible way. She always wants to be the best Lindy and she adores her friends.

Q) What made you want to take on the role?

A) Lindy’s a bit different from any other character I’ve taken on. So, I’ve accepted the challenge to play a role that’s different from anything I’ve ever done.

Q) Is there anything about the role that you’ve brought to it that may not necessarily have been in the script?

A) I think the relationship between Lindy and her brother is definitely something that can’t be shown just by lines in a script. Austin North and I have known each other for a while and we’ve developed this brother-sister relationship outside of work that we love bringing to the table when we are our characters.

Q) What have you found challenging about working on the show?

A) There’s really no major challenge working on this show. Every one is so talented and so hardworking. And the dynamics between not only all of our characters, but between us kids in general is so real and rare.

Q) Was there instant cast chemistry when you began working together or did it take some time to develop?

A) Oh no, it was definitely instant. The moment we all met each other we clicked. Of course, it took time to learn a little bit about one another, but our personalities meshed so well when we all first met.

Q) Will there be any special guest stars this season?

A) Yes! The audience will definitely see some familiar Disney faces!

Q) Why should viewers take the time to watch “I Didn’t Do It?”

A) I really think when the audience watches this show they’ll either think that they’re like one of the characters, want to be friends with the characters or that the show is just so relatable in so many different aspects.

Q) Will you be releasing any more music in the near future?

A) Yes, very, very soon! I’ve been in the recording studio working on some music of my own that I can’t wait for everyone to listen to.

Q) What are some of your favorite quick fashion tips?

A) Throw on some accessories when you feel your outfit is a bit blah. That’s my go-to thing!

Q) Is there anything else you’d like to tease or share about the show?

A) Keep tuning in to see what messes these five best friends keep getting themselves in!
