Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) I actually had my episode of “Motive” come out this week.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the film Dying To Be Loved?

A) It was an exciting script and so much that happens in the movie. I thought it would be fun to shoot and it one hundred percent was! She is not like me in real life. It was different for me to be put into these extraordinary circumstances that unfold in the film and it was.

Q) Was there instant chemistry when you and costar Lindsay Hartley began working together?

A) It was funny because I’m twenty-one years old so we definitely related on a lot of things in real life and as soon as the cameras started rolling I was sixteen years old and Emily again. It was fun! It was also really cool to explore this chemistry that mothers and daughters grow for years and years when we only had a couple of weeks to make up for that. But we definitely had some great moments. There are some great scenes of the two us and Lindsay was so great. It was so fun to work with her!

Q) How were you able to get into the mindset to portray Emily?

A) I definitely remember making a big posterboard that I put images on that helped me get into her mind-space. She is more to herself and very introverted. She is kind of scarred in some ways and has a little bit of hurt inside of her. That’s why I think when she meets Gary (Jedidiah Goodacre) she falls for someone who shows her affection. So, I had a big image board that I kept with me that I would look at every day on set that reminded me of what internal struggle for Emily going on.

Q) What do you think it is about Gary that draws Emily to him?

A) I think really it was her first love and a lot of viewers can relate to that. They can think back to how embarrassing it was and how you could fall head over heels for someone you meet and share a special connection with for the first time. It’s adrenaline and I think she just gets caught up in all of that. Plus, she’s at the point in her life where she is trying to be a bit more independent from her mom since it was just the two of them for so long. So, it was just the perfect mixture to mix things up in her brain and she fell head over heels.

Q) Did you have to do any stunt work for the film?

A) No, it was very basic. It’s just cameras of the damn that change every few minutes so we didn’t actually have to do any jumping. So, I didn’t actually get to do any jumping, unfortunately.

Q) What was your most memorable moment from filming?

A) We had a really intense scene come later in the film when there is a hostage situation that goes down. It was really intense because it was a lot of scene and it was very challenging as me being Emily in that situation. It was imagining all of the emotions that go through you in that scenario, but at the same time it was very fun to see Jedidiah as the most crazed teen in the film. The whole scene after that was quite fun, running away from him. It was very exciting to film.

Q) What do you think it is about Dying To Be Loved that will make people want to tune in?

A) I really think it is a fun ride to be part of. There are so many twists and turns and the sort of things you aren’t expecting. It’s so dramatic like a Lifetime movie is and I think people are going to have a lot of fun watching it.

Q) Will you be live tweeting the film at all?

A) Unfortunately, I’m currently in Vancouver and the movie is premiering in the states. So, I won’t be able to see it and live tweet. Definitely, I will send out some goofy set photos that we had though.

Q) Are you looking forward to the instant fan feedback you will be receiving to the film?

A) Definitely! It’s always fun to hear what everyone thinks of the projects that I do and what they think of the characters.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of your work?

A) I’m just so happy that people have found joy in something that I just love doing. I’m just so happy to have these wonderful fans that are so great and supportive. I always get the most support from them and I just love it.
