Q) You play Kate in Good Kisser. How was she originally described to you?

A) I remember reading the script and thinking how badly I ended up feeling for Kate. Wendy Jo [Carlton] described her to me as a girl who’s finally lost her confidence. I also think Kate is masking her real feelings and she’s actually just a lost person who needs to find who she really is.

Q) What did you find the most challenging aspect of portraying Kate?

A) I think making Kate seem like more than a cheater was challenging. In the writing it comes out, but if it wasn’t played that way— she could have come off as a villain.

Q) What about the script stood out to you?

A) This script was so well written and I loved the relationships between all three women. They were different and honest. They were all flushed out so much and you don’t get that a lot with films, especially LGBTQ ones.

Q) What are some of your favorite behind the scenes moments on set of Good Kisser?

A) Cottage Rachel, this character I came up with during the 5-5 shoot to make people laugh on set. She was a bit scary, along with funny. [laughs]

Q) What would you like the audience to experience with Good Kisser?

A) The chemistry between us, the sexiness of the film as a whole and the real meaning of Jenna (Kari Alison Hodge) realizing what she’s actually found out.

Q) What made screening the movie at ClexaCon special to you?

A) It was the first time any of the actors had seen the film, seeing it with an audience and also watching it for the first time was super raw and interesting.
