AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, airs Wednesdays at 8 PM ET/PT on UPN

Q) Who is your favorite designer?

A) I really like Marc Jacobs because he is classy, but still a little bit edgy.

Q) Why did you decide to apply for the show?

A) My roommate, my best friend at the time, had seen season one and mentioned it to me. She said it was something I should do, but it wasn’t something I had seen because of my work schedule. I applied without seeing it for season two and made it through some of the rounds, but didn’t make the final cut in Los Angeles. I was like, “Oh, I got in and got close enough so I have to keep trying.” I tried out for season three and got no response, but I showed up for an open casting call for season four and the rest is history!

Q) What was your video like for your audition?

A) I actually didn’t make a video for season four, but back in season two it was just me at home sitting around with a video camera gabbing away.

Q) What was it like meeting Tyra Banks?

A) She is a role model so to get to meet her in person made me star struck. Not too many stars live around Minneapolis so to get to meet her, be around her and learn from her and to have her care about you was amazing.

Q) What did you like most about living in the loft?

A) I loved the loft because it was huge, beautiful, it was in LA, what didn’t I like about living in the loft. I would probably never have the opportunity to live in a house like that again. It was beautiful!

Q) What did you learn most about modeling from the show?

A) I learned most about modeling that it is not just be pretty, stand here and take your picture. It’s hard work. It’s get up early and work late into the night. A lot of people are going to say, “No” before they say, “Yes.” It takes a lot of work because it’s not just about being pretty, but there is a business side to it. You really have to do know what you are doing to manage yourself and to get far.

Q) What was your favorite competition and why?

A) That would be the runway challenge because I was lucky enough to win that one. Runway is probably my favorite part of modeling. It’s alive, it has energy, people are running around and all eyes are on you. Runway is definitely my favorite part and since I got to win the shoes, which turned into my wedding shoes, it made it such a blast.

Q) We saw you leaving a note at the end of the show. Who did you write to and what did the note say?

A) I might have left a note for Kahlen to say keep going, be strong, you’re going to do great, miss you, have fun and wish the girls luck on this crazy adventure that they were still on.

Q) Do you have advice for contestants who try out in the future?

A) My advice is to be yourself, most importantly. That is probably the reason why I was never cast for the other seasons because I was still nervous and scared of rejection and what they were looking for and I was trying to be something that I wasn’t. So, I feel that if you just let all of that go to the side and be who you are

Q) What are you going to do now that you are no longer on the program?

A) Now that it is over, I am going to do everything in my power to continue working in this industry. This is something that the show has made me want to do; even more so, now that I’ve had a real taste of what it is all about. I am going to do whatever I can to find a good agent and hopefully someone will want to work with me.

Q) Are you a married woman now?

A) I am married! I got married in January to my wonderful husband Todd. We got married on our one-year anniversary of being engaged. Married life is going better than I could have imagined.

Q) What was going through your mind when Tyra raised her voice to Tiffany?

A) It kind of came out of left field. We were both eliminated and I’m going over to hug the girls goodbye and she calls us back up to stand in front of us and talk to us. I was full of emotion because we had just been eliminated, but then Tyra said what she said. I just listened and I couldn’t believe it was actually happening because that isn’t the Tyra we know. It just took me completely off guard.

Q) Do you think Tiffany will be able to bounce back from the show?

A) I really hope so. I don’t have a doubt that she won’t. The show was very crazy and stressful and she’s a tough person on the inside (because she had to be her whole life). So, I have no she’ll be able to bounce back and get going again.

Q) Who do you think is going to win the competition?

A) Well, I have absolutely have no idea who wins, but I’m definitely routing for Kahlen. She’s got what it takes, she’s beautiful, she’s funny and she’s just great. I am also hoping for Naima too. I thought she was just a sweetheart and I think they both have what it takes to be a “Top Model.”

Q) Who do you plan on keeping in touch with from the show?

A) I definitely plan on keeping in touch with Kahlen, she was like a sister out there to me. Also, I’ll keep in touch with Lluvy who is also a wonderful girl and Noelle, who was a roommate of mine.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters of you and the show?

A) I just want to say thank you for everyone watching the show and for those that were supporting me, I appreciate it so much. Keep watching the show and hopefully you’ll see me in other things. Thank you very much, to all of the fans!
