Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) I just finished wrapping up an episode I shot for “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World.” I had an amazing time shooting in Atlanta. It was my first time working on a comedy like that so learned a lot while down there.

Q) Please tell us the premise for “Runaways” and about your character Alex Wilder.

A) It’s about these six Los Angeles teenagers and how they stumble upon their parents killing someone. It seems sort of ritualistic or like some sort of sacrifice, but they aren’t really sure. They begin looking into it and the season follows all the twists and lies that are a part of their world now.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?

A) So many things! The creators for one – Josh [Schwartz] and Stephanie [Savage] have put such great TV into the world. Millions of people have watched and love their shows. Then, of course Marvel. But even more so how it was slightly different than most marvel concepts at the time. The perspective of the teenager had not been explored so much so that really got me excited about it.

Q) Was there anything you added to your role that wasn’t in the original breakdown?

A) Our writers did such a great job, but what they even couldn’t write was my “glasses pushup.” I’ve been complimented many times on how I push my glasses up. I’m not one to brag, but take a look. Some would even say it’s iconic.

Q) Were you familiar with the comic series before joining the cast?

A) Not really, no. I had of course read everything I could about it online during the auditioning process, but had not read the series itself. It wasn’t until after I got the part and was preparing to play Alex that I read all of it. Or all of the first volume at least.

Q) What have been some of your most memorable moments from filming “Runaways?”

A) I almost caught on fire during the pilot so…that’s one. And all of the laughs we had behind camera. Getting to know and love the rest of my cast. We have spent so much time together, I’m really grateful we have the cast that we do.

Q) With such a large cast, is there anyone you haven’t worked with yet that you wish you had a scene with?

A) I would love to have a scene with Kevin [Weisman]! It would be really tough to keep a straight face, but I think he has some of the funniest scenes in the whole show.

Q) You are a part of social media. Have you been enjoying the instant fan feedback you receive to episodes?

A) Yes absolutely! Maybe because it’s all been really good, but I really do. People seem to really love the show and I hope that it continues to grow even more through Season Two.

Q) We recently saw you on the hit series “Teen Wolf.” What did you take away from your experiences on the show?

A) The sense of family they all share. They have been through close to a hundred episodes when I was on and wow, to think about a hundred episodes, same sound guy, same camera operator, same producers, it’s amazing. The sense of community formed and how nice it is to share that with new guys like me who are just there for a couple months.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) A huge thank you! I haven’t been a part of this for too long and I hope to continue growing as an actor and person. Prepare yourselves for Season Two!
