Rob Boltin – Mind Over Matter

By  |

Q) What are the current projects that you are working on?

A) Right now, I’m filming “Three Moons Over Milford.” We’re doing it for three months and I’ll be here another week in Vancouver before we wrap.

Q) Please tell us about your character Mack on the show “Three Moons Over Milford.”

A) Mack is the town attorney and sort of the go-to-guy when people have problems and need guidance. He’s sort of the calm force, but also sort of the Nutty Professor who is a little disorganized and disheveled. At his heart, he’s a good guy.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?

A) I just thought it was a great script and an interesting concept. It’s got great character studies with this back drop of impending doom of the moons coming down. I thought it was interesting.

Q) What has been your most memorable moment from filming?

A) I would say my most memorable moment was working with Elizabeth McGovern, Nora Dunn and the rest of the cast. We’ve had some great guest stars like Richard Kind and Barry Bostwick. It’s just been a great experience to work with all of these fine actors.

Q) If a comet were to come, what are some of the things you’d like to do before it arrives?

A) I would probably spend as much time with my family as I could.

Q) Why should viewers tune in to “Three Moons Over Milford?

A) I think it’s going to appeal to adults, as well as kids. I think it’s going to remind everyone of what little time we have, really, on this Earth. We should live every day as if we don’t have any time left.

Q) Does the cast have a lot of chemistry off set as well as they do on set?

A) Absolutely! We’re always having BBQ’s and hanging out. It’s been a great experience!

Q) What’s been your favorite project to work on?

A) My favorite project would be this one since it’s been such a challenge and so rewarding.

Q) What do you do in your spare time

A) In my spare time, I play a lot of poker online. I also like to spend time with my family and friends.

Q) What is your latest obsession? A book? A movie? A sport? A band?

A) I just finished reading the book The Confederacy of Dunces for the tenth time. I finished it in about three days. Of course, I could probably recite the entire book by memory by now. It sort of embodies everything that New Orleans is about and it’s just a hysterical book.
