Q. What are some of the current projects that you are working on?

A. I just finished shooting an episode of “Crossing Jordan” on NBC and that’s going to be released in January. I just finished an episode of “Veronica Mars,” which actually aired about two weeks ago.

Q. You were recently in an episode of “Veronica Mars.” What information were you originally given about the character “Michelle”?

A. I had been given information that she was the best friend of one of the girls who died in the bus accident. She actually was supposed to go on that field trip but didn’t go. She was the only person who had a message about that really fatal crash. She was the only link that actually helped “Veronica” to figure out what’s going on.

Q. What made you want to be a part of this show?

A. I love the show, I was a fan of the show before I started working on it. I just was so excited for a chance to be a part of it. The cast and the crew are just the nicest people ever; it was an amazing working experience.

Q. How was getting to work with producer Rob Thomas on this project?

A. He was great; I actually met him in the first audition. He was just so open and wonderful and I can see how that show has become such a fan favorite because he really is guiding the show in a very specific way. I’m just happy to be a part of it.

Q. Do you have a most memorable moment from filming on “Veronica Mars”?

A. Kristen Bell was actually really nice, I had a scene with her and during some breaks I got to talk to her. She is so down to earth and she just made me feel so comfortable, I think that was just really amazing. Sometimes you go on a set and you get nervous and you’re not sure how everybody is going to react. She just made me feel completely at home, so that was great.

Q. You’ll also be appearing in an episode of “Crossing Jordan.” What can you tell us about the premise for the episode and your character?

A. I think it’s going to be one of the best episodes, it takes place at an inn. They are famous for recreating murder scenes and as it turns out an actual murder happens there. I get to play this really cookey character, she’s on her honeymoon with her husband. She’s just really fascinated by death and it’s just really cookey. You’ll see when you watch it, she may be a suspect!

Q. What are some of your passions besides acting?

A. Yeah I love going to movies and going to the theater and seeing other actors work. I love hanging out with my friends and going out for dinner and just relaxing when I have down time. I also volunteer at an orphanage for abused children; I spend a lot of my time there. The kids are just really amazing, it kind of helps in an industry that is so self-absorbing sometimes. It helps to know that there are other things besides that in life.

Q. Do you have a latest obsession? Are you into any particular book, sport, music group or activity?

A. I love Jennifer Weiner; she’s an author. The movie In Her Shoes was an adaptation of her book. She I think is just an amazing female writer; I love her stuff. I am also into “Desperate Housewives,” when I was on the set of “Crossing Jordan” they shoot on the same lot. I tried to peek over, I am just a big fan of that show. The woman who was actually on “Veronica Mars” with me, Christine Estabrook, she was on “Desperate Housewives” and I wanted to drill her for information.

Q. With Thanksgiving around the corner, what are you most thankful for this year?

A. I am thankful for my family, I have an amazing family. I have a one-year-old nephew that is just adorable and a six-year-old niece that I love. I have the most amazing friends that anybody could ask for, that I’ve been friends with my whole life. I am just thankful that I’m healthy and happy and that I have really good people surrounding me.
