Q) What are the current projects you were working on?

A) Currently, I am working on a TV show called “Three Moons Over Milford” and we’re shooting in Vancouver, B.C.

Q) Please tell us about the premise for the show “Three Moons Over Milford” and your character Clare.

A) The premise of the show is that a hundred days ago an asteroid or comet hit the moon and shattered it into three parts. Because of the gravitational pull of the Earth, at any moment one of those moons could crash into the planet and probably annihilate all life on the planet. So, everyone goes a little crazy. The premise is basically about how  would you live your life if it was possibly your last week, last day or last minute on the Earth? How would you live your life differently? Clare is a computer researcher that lives and work in Milford, but she is a recent transfer. The corporation she works for is in Milford. There are people that work for the corporation and then there are the townies who have grown up and lived in Milford all of their lives. She’s not a townie and just works for the corporation. She ends up having a strong connection with Alec [played by Sam Murphy], who is one of the leads that lives next door that is only sixteen years old.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?

A) The writing was amazing! It’s edgy because of the seriousness of the situation, but it’s also funny because everyone deals with their possible last moment on Earth in a very different way.  The writing was quick, funny and challenging. The moment I read it, I loved it. It’s really cool!

Q) What is your most memorable moment from filming?

A) My most memorable moment would probably be with the guy who plays Alec. He’s a very good friend of mine and the first time we had to kiss was strange since he’s my friend. To kiss someone you are really good friends with is always a strange situation.

Q) If a comet were to come, what are some of the things you’d like to do before it arrives?

A) I think I would grab all of the people that I love, all of my friends and family, and probably buy an island or go somewhere really cool where we could have a gigantic party. Then we could all celebrate whatever time we had left together.

Q) Why should viewers take the time to tune in to “Three Moons Over Milford?”

A) I think that it’s one of those shows that when it comes right down to it, it’s about being human. It’s fun, the situations are always fun, but it’s got a lot of heart in it. I don’t think anything like it has been done. I think it’s just a really great fun, funny show, but also makes you think about the way you are living your life.

Q) What has been your favorite project to work on?

A) I’d, actually, say that this one is my favorite. It’s a situation where everyone involved is like a little family. Everyone is really nice and gets along. The material is fun to work on and it’s challenging. This is the first time I really feel home working on something because everyone is really close. I feel like I belong!

Q) You’ve worked with numerous amazing actors like Rob Lowe, Kiera Sedgewick, Patricia Arquette, Kate Hudson, etc. Who would you most like to work with in the future?

A) It would be between two people. The first would be Meryl Streep, which is probably something a lot of people say. I picked her because she is such an amazing actor and such an amazing woman. Someone who represents women in such a strong way would be really incredible to work with. I would probably freak out, but I’d pick her since it would be so great to learn from her and just to be in awe of watching her. The other person would be Gong Li because she is one of the most famous and amazing Chinese actresses. She’s going to be in the new Miami Vice movie. She’s gorgeous and she’s made all of these great Chinese films. I think I could learn a lot from her, internationally speaking. I think that she has a lot of presence when it comes to the face of Asian people in film.

Q) What do you do in your spare time?

A) I play with my dogs and I go hiking. I travel and I am a total geek sometimes because I do scrap booking. I like to watch movies and hang out with my friends.

Q) What is your latest obsession? A book? A movie? A sport? A band?

A) I am actually really into running and hiking right now because I am in Vancouver. It’s so beautiful and I can run at this place called The Sea Wall, which is right on the water. The Sea Wall travels all around this bay so I do that every day. I can’t get enough! The hiking is amazing, too, because they have a protected area for us.
