Sandrine Holt – Runaway

Q) What are the current projects you are working on?

A) I’ve been working on “Runaway,” which is a show for the CW channel and I’ve also been working on “The L Word.”

Q) Please tell us about your character Erin on the show “Runaway.”

A) My character works with Donnie Wahlberg’s character and I am murdered in the pilot. He’s framed for my murder, in which case he and his family have to go on the road until they find evidence about who killed me. So, my character appears in flashbacks.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?

A) Donnie Wahlberg is a phenomenal actor. Just the chance to work with him is amazing! Plus, it shoots in Toronto and that’s where I am from. It’s nice to be back there.

Q) You play the partner of Donnie Wahlberg. What is it like working with him?

A) He’s just such an excellent actor. He’s such a pleasure to work with and he just gives you so much to work with.

Q) What is your most memorable moment from filming?

A) His character is having an affair with me. A lot of our scenes are intimate. I don’t really know much about my character because the writers don’t tell you where you’re going. I don’t really know if I’m a good guy or a bad guy. It’s a very mysterious sort of character.

Q) Why should viewers tune in to the show “Runaway?”

A) I just think it’s a very well crafted show. It has a lot of intrigue, but at the same time it’s a family show. Because they are on the run, the bonds between them have to be incredibly strong. It’s just such a nice show to watch.

Q) You also got to play the aide to the President’s wife on “24.” How did it feel getting to work on an Emmy award winning show?

A) I felt, again, incredibly lucky. I was able to work with an incredible actress, Jean Smart. I have just been really lucky with my costars!

Q) You have such a dramatic flair. What is it about acting that gives you such passion?

A) I think generally because I am a shy person so it sort of enables me to act out things without really having to deal with the consequences. It’s a form of escape. Also, I am sort of fascinated by why people do the things that they do, what drives a character.

Q) What do you do in your spare time?

A) I am kind of a home body. I love domestic things. I love to clean.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A) It’s sort of hard to look at it like I have fans. Thank you for your support.
