Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Feel-good, inspirational words and beats that inspire people to live with passion and enjoy life! I put my heart and soul into each song and my hope is it translates to those listening.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I have a lot but at the top of the list right now would be Morgan Wallen, Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran.

Q) Your song “You Don’t Have to Be Alone” is such an inspirational anti-bullying anthem. What inspired the song?

A) The song was inspired by anti-bullying and suicide prevention movements in junior high and high school. It may not seem like it from other points of view, but a lot of bullying/teasing etc. happens around my age and it can really hurt someone. The co-writers and I wanted to create something that would inspire my generation to let them know there is always someone there to help out.

Q) What kind of fan response have you been receiving to the important message behind it?

A) Really positive. People really like the song overall and I got a lot of good comments about the message and how positive it is.

Q) What do you hope listeners take away from it?

A) There is ALWAYS someone there to lean on and ask for help, whether it is a friend, family member or someone in the community.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I just start writing stuff down that comes to me. It might be an event or something going on in the world and I just start writing it out. When I was in Nashville, I co-wrote five songs and it was super cool. Co-writing is great because we get to bounce ideas off each other. I am new to this so to work with experienced writers is amazing.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I do have a say in how the song sounds, how I sound, etc. When recording, if I don’t like the way I sound I say something and try different ways to sing a verse. Overall, it is really great because the producers I have worked with have been super amazing and supportive.

Q) Fans are eager for some new music from you. Will there be a full album or EP coming out soon?

A) YES! I am super excited to be working on my first full album. I was down in Nashville working with some amazing people in the industry and we got some songs written and recorded for it. I still have some more to go but can’t wait for it to come out.

Q) You’ve performed at SXSW and other incredible venues. Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) SXSW was amazing. I performed on a riverboat, and it was such a cool experience. I have also performed at a theatre in my city which holds about nine hundred to a thousand people which was awesome. I love the bigger crowds as I feed off the energy!

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Morgan Wallen for sure. Also, Shawn Mendes because he is Canadian like me and seems like a really great guy!

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Morgan Wallen is definitely up there. His latest album is so awesome, and I really like performing his songs at my gigs. I also really enjoy Niko Moon. I saw him at the Grand Ole Opry, and he is so happy when he is performing it was super inspiring and awesome to see.

Q) You found success through social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. What advice would you give up and coming musicians?

A) Be yourself! I often get told I sound like Shawn Mendes, or I am the next Bieber. While that is super nice, I am just me! Be yourself and have fun.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I would not be where I am today at fifteen years old without them. Thank you so much, it means a lot to me that I have fans!
