The Anuk-ite is destroying Beacon Hills. Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack believe if they can stop the Anuk-ite, they can stop the war. They will do whatever they have to to stop it.

Lydia (Holand Roden), Scott and Malia (Shelley Hennig) found a phone on the half of the Anuk-ite they found in the woods. Scott and Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) inspect the phone and find a voicemail on it. They listen to the message, in which a female voice says “Call me back…They’re my pack, too.” Trying to figure out who the voice in the message belongs to, they nervously call the number back. When the phone number reaches the high school, Liam realizes the voice belongs to his biology teacher, Mrs. Finch (Michelle Clunie). Mrs. Finch is a werewolf! Liam goes back to school to interrogate her. When he shows up in her class, she is SHOOK! Liam makes Mrs. Finch feel so uncomfortable she cuts class EARLY. When they’re finally alone, Liam accuses her of being a werewolf and having a pack. She asks Liam if he’s on drugs. “Hydrocodone? Oxycodone?” She’s scared! She’s offended and defensive and says, “I don’t go digging into your personal life.” Although, she did just ask him if he was on drugs! She orders Liam to leave her classroom right now! Scott comes in and plays the voice message. Mrs. Finch admits she was calling her daughter, Quinn (Lucy Loken). She was begging for her to call her back. Sadly, she can’t. She’s dead. Half of the Anuk-ite took over her body, stealing her face and DNA! Scott can feel Mrs. Finch’s pain over losing her daughter. Liam calls Quinn to the school, intent to destroy her. When Quinn arrives, Mrs. Finch is determined to reach her daughter. She throws wolfsbane in Scott and Liam’s faces, knocking them out. She chases after her daughter, but that’s not her daughter. The Anuk-ite wounds her, lethally. Mrs. Finch is dying! She doesn’t shift to heal. She wants to be with her daughter.

While Scott and Liam handle Quinn, Theo (Cody Christian) and Mason (Khylin Rhambo) hunt the other half of the Anuk-ite: Aaron (Rhenzy Feliz). They follow Aaron into the tunnels, trying to find and kill the Anuk-ite. Stiles’ handed down bat in hand, Mason is ready to fight! They’re afraid of the tunnels! The Anuk-ite doesn’t want them there and they don’t want to be there, but they need to follow their fear. They must be near Aaron because Mason becomes ANGRY at Theo and yells at him, “I’m way more terrified of turning my back on you!” He doesn’t trust him! Aaron appears out of the darkness and kicks Mason and Theo’s asses! Mason urges Theo to not fight Aaron because it’s what he wants. Even though they were just fighting each other, Theo saves Mason and tries to take his pain and Mason helps Theo up. They can’t leave each other.

While everyone else is fighitng the Anuk-ite, Lydia and Malia are trying to contact the one who defeated it before: the Hell Hound Halwyn (Casey Deidrick). Lydia doesn’t think she would’ve been led to he Anuk-ite in the woods if Halwyn was fully dead so she attempts to communicate with him. She lays on a gurney next to him and touches him. Nothing. She remembers the last time they communicated she was unconscious so they have to recreate that. She needs to be rendered unconscious, preferably without pain. She tells Malia to press against her chest, hard, constricting the flow of blood and oxygen to her brain. It’ll drop her blood pressure and render her unconscious. “That sounds totally unsafe,” says Malia. “Oh, extremely,” replies Lydia.  They’re not sure of this plan, but hey have to try. Lydia can’t breathe, as Malia knocks her out and renders her unconscious! Lydia is out cold! Lydia’s boyfriend, Stiles (Dylan O’Brien), would legit murder his ex-girlfriend Malia for making his current girlfriend unconscious! It works! Lydia is in some kind of unconscious dream. She’s curious and scared, her heart jumping out of her chest! Young Lydia is witnessing some serious stuff in his premonition. She sees Halwyn explode and then he rams her into consciousness! They have to wake Halwyn up! Wearing scrubs and surgical masks they stole, they sneak him into the hospital. They put him in the MRI machine to pull out the silver bullet in his head. Once it’s out, he’ll start to heal. Problem: If they take out the bullet, he’ll die again. There are specks of silver in his head. If he Hell Hound heals, he’ll heat up and the silver will melt and seep right into his brain. He’ll die from silver poisoning. They deliberate and decide to do it because from what little they know about him they figure this is what he would want. The only thing Halwyn’s ever cared about is defeating The Anuk-ite. He built Eichen and froze himself for 100 years so he’d be ready to fight the Anuk-ite. The first thing he did when unfrozen was start hunting the thing. Dying to stop the Anuk-ite seems like a sacrifice he’d be willing to make. They turn on the MRI machine and the bullet just spits out of Halwyn’s head! There’s now a hole in his head where the bullet used to be! Halwyn is angry and falling over himself as he tries to run away! He crashes into the wall and falls to the ground. Silver is seeping out of his eyes and mouth! With his last words, he warns them about the Anuk-ite, “You can’t stop it. You can’t kill it. Don’t let it find its other half. Keep them apart. You can’t let the two halves merge. If you do, you won’t be able to catch it. If it finds its other half, if the two become one, do not look. You can’t look at it. It will kill you with a look.” Halwyn then dies holding Lydia’s hand. Lydia and Malia are both so sad. They selfishly killed him so he’d help them. They immediately regret doing his. Lydia is so, so sorry and usually uncaring Malia cries.

Quinn and Aaron are looking for each other. They can feel each other’s pain. They finally meet and come together in the school library. Liam tries to stop them, but Quinn throws him back! They kiss and merge, by passing spiders mouth-to-mouth. Only one half of the Anuk-ite can survive. They beat each other up and choke each other out! She head butts him and he knocks her down! Aaron steals all of her spiders or life force. Quinn is definitely dead! Using Aaron as a vessel, the two halves transform into one ugly Voldemort looking freak! Lydia runs in and saves Liam before he looks at the Anuk-ite! “You can’t look at it. If you do it’ll kill you,” she tells him. The Anuk-ite moves to the school hallway, where three very terrified hunters look at it. The hunters aren’t just killed, they’re turned to stone. Scott and his friends will have to learn to fight without their eyes, without seeing, to defeat this creature! It then goes to the hospital where it turns doctors and nurses to stone. Someone needs to check on Melissa (Melissa Ponzio)! For real! The Anuk-ite makes its way to the morgue where Gerard (Michael Hogan) holds a meeting with it. Gerard proposes if he weakens Scott and his pack for the Anuk-ite, the Anuk-ite will kill Scott and his friends.
