Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) The easiest way to describe us is “post-hardcore” something along the lines of… its heavy every once and awhile, but most times it’s melodic and fun to sing along too.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) We all are into different bands like myself I take a lot from My Chemical Romance and At The Drive In and then Juergie [Landstrom] takes a lot from Fear Before and The Locust while Stephen [Danzey] loves Opeth and Underoath. Then, you have AJ [Pekarek] who loves Iron Madden and any 80’s hair metal and Chris [King] who takes a lot from The Fall Of Troy and Enter Shikari. So, honestly, we all bring different things to the table that make up our sound.

Q) Your upcoming album is called A Moment of Silence. Where does the title come from?

A) A Moment of Silence is a story that explores one man’s journey through the afterlife. In this universe there is eternity after death, but there is no God and there is no heaven. This man has been told his entire life that when he died he would be greeted by God at the gates of heaven. Now, he must drift and observe, waiting for the truth to reveal itself.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) A whole lot actually! We pride ourselves on writing our own music and getting to demo out the whole record and ideas at our home studio before ever sending it out to producers to see what they think.

Q) Will there be a video for all the songs off A Moment of Silence or just certain ones?

A) Ah, we wish we had that kind of budget. But for now we have two videos done, one that’s out right now for “The Water Obeyed The Gravity” and then another that’s going to be coming out at the end of November. We are always thinking of more videos so I’m sure we will be doing more when the record comes out.

Q) What songs off A Moment of Silence are you most looking forward to performing live?

A) We always make sure our live show is top notch. We like to have a good time and we like to think the people who watch us do to! Right now, we are playing five songs off the new record live we always change up our set so I’m sure every tour we will bring out a few more new jams!

Q) How do you plan to celebrate the album’s release?

A) We are actually on the road right now playing new songs and getting the hype train going for the release this December, but we are having a huge party on December 20th in Atlanta to celebrate the release!

Q) What do you hope listeners take away from listening to the album?

A) That it’s okay to question the unknown! It’s okay to push the boundaries! It’s okay to be yourself! Just do what you love and let it kill you!

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I personally would love to work with Howard Benson or John Feldmann on a record. They have help create some of my favorite records and I really look up to them as producers.

Q) Is there anything else you want be sure fans know about your music?

A) Life is way too short to not have fun doing what you love so go out and have some fun!

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way to connect with your fans?

A) We definitely are! I use my personal Facebook to talk to fans and let them know about upcoming shows. In this day in age you have to be very open to your fans and that’s something I really enjoy is meeting kids and hanging out with them at shows!

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter?

A) Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!! Thank you for letting us do what we love!
