AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, airs Wednesdays at 8 PM ET/PT on UPN

Q) Who is your favorite designer?

A) My favorite is Sean John, but I have a lot.

Q) Why did you decide to apply for the show a second time?

A) My grandma and my mom encouraged me to try it again. I wanted to do something different with my life and what better way than to go on the show?

Q) What was the audition process like for you?

A) The audition part was fun, the third and the forth time because it was easy and fun. I got to go in and be myself both times. It was cool.

Q) What was it like meeting Tyra Banks?

A) It was amazing meeting Tyra Banks. I thought she’d just make appearances and we wouldn’t get to see her that much, but she was always there. At first I said to myself, “Oh my gosh! Am I watching TV or is she really here?” After a while, it gets so much easier to talk to her and hang around her, but it was amazing!

Q) What did you like most about living in the loft?

A) I liked hanging around a bunch of different girls. When I started the competition, I didn’t think I’d have fun with so many different girls, but it was so much fun! I had a lot of fun with them and that was my favorite part of the competition was being around those girls. Those are some interesting girls!

Q) What did you learn most about modeling from the show?

A) I learned about makeup a lot and how to apply it to my face. I learned how to find the light (we all learned that the last episode). I learned a lot of different things, but I really got caught up in the reality TV world.

Q) Have you talked to Tyra since leaving the show?

A) Yes, Tyra and me are really close. She calls me once or twice a week, her and her mom. She’s making sure that I get to different agencies and I get work. So, Tyra and me are really close, her and her mom.

Q) Was there a certain event that caused you to decide to give up?

A) It was something where they didn’t show it and I don’t want to talk about it. Someone accused me of something and it wasn’t true. It got all big and ugly and then they found out it didn’t happen so they didn’t show that part of it. After Brandy got cut that week, my whole outlook changed and I didn’t want to be there anymore. I felt like I was being chased and I am a person who doesn’t like people telling me I’m doing something when I am not doing it. Someone told me that I was being a diva and it just made me upset and I felt like I wasn’t brought there to be who I was. I felt I was brought there to be changed and I don’t like anyone trying to change me.

Q) How come you were not more social at the CoverGirl party?

A) The way it was shown, it made it look like I didn’t talk to anyone. I did talk to a couple of the girls there and the ladies there said I had beautiful skin, beautiful hair, but I was boring. Only one person found out that I had a little boy. They didn’t show me talking to them, for whatever reason, but I don’t know why. I spoke with a couple people at the party. Yes, I was nervous and didn’t know what to do, but I guess I didn’t go up to them. A lot of people came up to me and I said, “Hi, I’m Tiffany,” but I was looking at the makeup because I figured if it was a CoverGirl party then I should know a little more about the makeup. That’s why I paid more attention to the makeup then the people who were there. I did speak to everyone, each and every person in there. I don’t how it played out with the editing and stuff like that.

Q) Do you have advice for contestants who try out in the future?

A) Be yourself. Don’t try and go in trying to be someone else. Don’t try and do something because the other girls are doing it. If you like to take off your shirt and run around the pool, then do it! If you don’t, then that’s cool too. Just be yourself and don’t let what other people say influence you. Don’t let it break you down. Don’t let other people break you down, stay strong and be who you are!

Q) What are you going to do now that you are no longer on the program?

A) Like I said before, Tyra and her mom are my mentors. Tyra is making sure I get into different agencies and things like that. So, her and her mom are working with me right now.

Q) What was your favorite competition and why was it your favorite?

A) My favorite competition was my worst competition, the tennis match. The tennis guy, I call him the tennis punk, was mean and evil. He was like, “I need a cigarette break!” I was like, “I need a cigarette break, too and I don’t even smoke!” He was just funny so that was my favorite challenge; especially when I found out they weren’t going to be using those pictures.
