What? “Til Lease Do Us Part” Season 2

 Who? Written by Adrianna DiLonardo and directed by Sarah Rotella. Starring Winny Clarke, Angie Lopez and Morgan Kohan.

Why Should I Watch? From the Gay Women Channel comes the second installation of their web series, “Til Lease Do Us Part” (TLDUP). The second seasons comes at us with twice as many episodes as last season and with a whole new storyline. This season features Elliot (Winny Clarke), her roommate Jess (Angie Lopez) and Jess’ new girlfriend Lexi (Morgan Kohan).

But before I get into details, let’s rewind a bit. If the name Elliot being associated with The Gay Women Channel sounds familiar, that’s because it is. Not only is this a second season for “TLDUP,” but it’s also a very cute prequel to Almost Adults, DiLonardo and Rotella’s first feature film. As audiences prepare themselves for the best friendship that is “Mackassie,” (Mackenzie & Cassie) they get an in-depth look at Elliot and learn her backstory in “TLDUP.”

So back to the who’s, who! Jess, a longtime player, finally settles down and falls in love. After finding out her girlfriend is without a home, she offers up hers for the meantime (Can you say U-Haul?). But here’s what Jess doesn’t know…Are you ready for it?

Lexi also happens to be Elliot’s ex-girlfriend and not just any ex-girlfriend, but Elliot’s first girlfriend. And as we all know, first loves die hard and Elliot gets to experience this all firsthand as she goes through the trials and tribulations of living with an ex and fighting the feelings she thought she buried long ago.

If the synopsis doesn’t get you itching to watch it, the chemistry between the adorable Elliot and Lexi will. There are too many moments that will have you yelling, “Kiss! Kiss already!” at the screen. Not to mention the awesome BFF bromance that Jess and Elliot got going on too, where at the end of the day all that matters is their friendship.
