What To Watch This Week

Sunday:

The Orville – A newly-promoted space ship captain takes over the USS Orville. Things go awry when he learns that his ex-wife will be his First Officer.  (FOX, 8pm ET/PT)

Outlander – We return to Scotland where Jamie finds himself at the mercy of the British victors at the Battle of Culloden. Thankfully, his past may prove to be a key to his survival. Meanwhile, in 1940, a pregnant Claire adjust to her new life. (Starz, 8pm ET/PT)

Monday:

Hooten and The Lady – Sadly, it’s the season finale of this action-adventure series. Alex and Hooten head to the sun and sand of the Caribbean. Our dynamic duo isn’t there for vacation though as much as they are on the hunt for pirate treasure! (The CW, 9pm ET/PT)

Midnight Texas – In the first of a two-episode arc, we return to the town of Midnight, Texas where a new supernatural being takes residence…in order to make room for something much darker to arrive. (NBC, 10pm ET/PT)

Tuesday:

The Mindy Project – It’s Mindy Kaling’s final season and she’s going out in style. Now a single mom, we will watch as she tackles life as a divorcee. Plus, we already know from a sneak peak (thanks Mindy’s Instagram) (Hulu)

Midnight Texas – A storm is coming! The arrival of a sandstorm hides a wraith-like demon that carves a path to welcome a demon from hell. I don’t know about you, but I’m nervous! (NBC, 10pm ET/PT)

Wednesday:

Suits – It’s the mid-season finale of this spectacularly dressed series. Tonight we see Mike and Harvey once again with their backs against the wall. Plus, Rachel is concerned that her father’s anger towards Spector Litt is clouding his judgement. (USA, 9pm ET/PT)

Broad City – Soulmates. The Season Four premiere begins with a flashback to when Ilana met Abbi. Picture a beautiful Spring day in 2011… (Comedy Central, 10:30pm ET/PT)

Thursday:

Better Things – She’s back! Be ready for a darker and dirtier look at the life of a single mother. This season also promises a better look at the characters you fell for in Season One. (FX, 10pm ET/PT)

Truth and Lies: The Murder of Laci Peterson – Follow along as this series explores the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Laci Peterson. Plus, follow along as we watch Scott Peterson’s trial and conviction. (ABC, 10pm ET/PT)

Friday:

ACM Honors – Tonight amazing artists like Vince Gil, Little Big Town, Toby Keith, Kelsea Ballerini, Brad Paisley, Maren Morris, Hillary Scott, Thomas Rhett and George Strait take the stage! Rock out and honor some amazing country music legends. (ABC, 9pm ET/PT)
