Sunday:

Counterpart – In the premiere of this new series we meet Howard Silk, who is a small fish in a big bureaucratic pond at a United Nations spy agency that is Berlin-based. Upon discovering the organization is holding the secret ability to pass into a parallel dimension, he puts himself in the middle of the mayhem. (Starz, 8pm ET/PT)

The Resident – Two words: Matt Czuchry. Two more words: Emily VanCamp. This new medical series focuses on the final years of a doctor’s training to get a peek into what really happens (good or bad) during the rising years of our medical practioners. (FOX, 10pm ET/PT)

 

Monday:

The Alienist – Tonight premieres the new series based on the novel by Caleb Carr. It’s 1896 New York City and in this psychological thriller we watch the hunt for a serial killer that has been murdering boy prostitutes. Watch as stars Luke Evans and Dakota Fanning find themselves on the case. (TNT, 9pm ET/PT)

Summer House – They’re back! Join the cast of “Summer House” as they return to the beach and start a new season of shenanigans. (Bravo, 10pm ET/PT)

 

Tuesday:

Lethal Weapon – Things go wrong when Detective Bailey’s sister has a run-in with the law. Because of this, Bailey is forced to decide between her job and protecting her family. (FOX, 8pm ET/PT)

Baskets – It’s a new season and they’re still clowning around! Tonight we watch as Chip is taught how to transfer a call (and more.) (FX, 10pm ET/P)T

 

Wednesday:

Riverdale – In the latest chapter of our little town saga, Archie hopes to bond with Hiram by trying out for the school’s wrestling team. I am sure there are other (safer) ways to win the favor of your girlfriend’s dad. (The CW, 8pm ET/PT)

Criminal Minds – The B.A.U. are tasked with investigating a series of D.C. based homicides. What makes them B.A.U. worthy? Cryptic messages are found inside the mouth of each body. (CBS, 10pm ET/PT)

 

Thursday:

Arrow – Cayden James has a plan. He’s taken it upon himself to grab control of every aspect of the city. Can our green good guy help bring him to justice? (The CW, 9pm ET/PT

How to Get Away With Murder – Now that Dominick is out of the picture and the baby has been born, Laurel struggles to come to terms with her past. Meanwhile, Annalise and Frank try to clean up the mess created by the rest of the group. (ABC, 10pm ET/PT)

 

Friday:

Jane the Virgin – Jane and Rafael make a decision on a new school for Mateo. Unfortunately, guilt gets the best of them when they choose to lie in order to get him in. (The CW, 9pm ET/PT)

Saturday:

Saturday Night Live – The government has shutdown and who knows how long it will be before we’re up and running again. In the meantime, grab a good laugh with host Will Farrell and jam along to musical guest Chris Stapleton. (NBC, 11:29pm ET/PT)
