There is no doubt about it that there will always be a fresh face in Hollywood. There will always be a bright eyed, eager hopeful who will stop at nothing to be the next icon. With that said, every month we will bring you a new face or even the face of someone we have grown to love, who has proven themselves time and again. The purpose is to get you acquainted or reacquainted with the person we feel deserves a spotlight each week.

The reason for the spotlight is to recognize why they are so hot. They could have helped rake in millions at the box office, acted their asses off in the role they were given, put a hot new track out, became the new “IT” girl on the runway or put out the hottest collection that is to die for. You get the gist of what I’m saying! So, as they say in show business, “Get on with the show!” Or is it “Off with your head?” Tomato or Tomato. Isn’t it all the same in Hollywood? I mean, after all, you always have to watch your back for that “Eve Harrington.” If you don’t get the reference then you must give All About Eve a watch. This month’s Addiction is Jordan Fisher and this is why he makes the Who’s Hot cut!

Jordan Fisher, 23, is participating on the current season of Dancing With the Stars. He is one of the highest contenders at this moment. He takes the feedback from the judges each week and comes back even better with each performance. When Erin Andrews, co-host of the show, asked him about his past with dancing his response was that he never danced in his life professionally. So, aside from having a great dancing partner in Lindsay Arnold, why does this young man keep wowing everyone including the judges? Let us take a glimpse into where Fisher came from.

Jordan Fisher is a big theater kid from Birmingham, Alabama who started acting with  Birmingham’s Red Mountain Theatre Company where he was spotted by a talent scout who offered to represent him. He plays six instruments: piano, guitar, bass, harmonica, French horn and drums. One of the biggest moments in his life was being cast in the Broadway production of Hamilton. Yes, that Hamilton. The former Hamilton star was also in “Grease: Live” on television. Fisher then released his self-titled EP with the help of Hollywood Records in August of 2016. He has had recurring roles on the television series “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” and “Liv and Maddie” and supporting roles in the television films Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2. Additionally, he is featured on the Moana soundtrack. He assumed the role of John Laurens/Philip Hamilton in the Broadway production of Hamilton in November of 2016. He most recently has had a recurring role on the TV series “Teen Wolf.”
