Q) Where did the idea come from for your latest single “Patience?”
A) The idea for “PATIENCE” came from a more recent break up from a “situationship” that had me fed up from the same games that people like to play. I’m basically saying
“I’m losing my patience” in finding the right one for me.
Q) What kind of fan reaction have you already been receiving to the track?
A) So far, the reaction has been great! It is currently sitting at my number one spot on Spotify. I’m very grateful for all the plays.
Q) There is a deep authenticity to the music that you make. Is that an intention you set when writing your songs?
A) Absolutely, yeah. Every song I put out has truth to it that comes from real experiences and real situations.
Q) There is a lyric video out now for the song. Will fans get to see a full video soon and, if so, what do you envision for it?
A) I’m not too sure about a full music video right now. However, if I do end up making one, I can see it reenacting real things that happened in the relationship.
Q) “Patience” is a beautiful start to the new year. Is this a prelude to a full album or even an EP?
A) That’s a good question! That wasn’t the intention, but I’ve been doing a lot of songwriting, and I can see all these songs being put together in an EP that would tell an interesting story. It’s a big possibility.
Q) We’d love to see some live performances coming soon. Where can fans keep up with possible live shows and new music you may have coming out?
A) I usually perform in Downtown Detroit or whenever an opportunity presents itself. I’ve been doing a lot of songwriting, so I can see new music coming out in a couple months. Still need to decide if I want to release an EP…so that might be a little longer of a wait.
Q) As someone who sings about matters of the heart, what are some dating tips you’d offer for those putting themselves out there in 2026?
A) Well, as experienced as I am as a thirty-two (soon to be thirty-three) year old – I would say stop letting social media fool you into thinking your options are endless. It may appear that way, but the truth is you will rarely find that one person that actually connects to your mind, body and soul at the same time. If you think you found that person, hold on to them and don’t let go. It’s a war zone out here in the single dating world.
Q) When we last chatted you said you’d love to share the stage with artists like David Guetta, Drake, Pitbull or Chris Brown. Are those still your top artists to collab with in the future?
A) Yes, absolutely. I’m just glad I didn’t say Diddy at the time. [laughs]
Q) What would you like to say to fans and supporters of you and your music?
A) I wanna say thank you so much because there are so many artists out there with amazing music and I’m just grateful for the ones who look forward to my new music and continue to listen to the older music.
