America’s Got Talent: All-Stars: Night 7
By: Sammi Turano
Act 1: Detroit Youth Choir: This group has always been a favorite of mine. I love their music and they seem to improve and add something new every time they take the stage.
The judges think they are the best choir, with Simon even thinking that they should perform at the Super Bowl.
Act 2: Ana-Maria Margean: Her puppet Mrs. Know It All is hilarious. The two of them having a sing-off is probably one of the funniest things we have seen all season.
The judges think she is flawless and even compare her to Ariana Grande.
Act 3: Power Duo: Their routine is beautiful, romantic and dreamy. It almost brings me to tears with how moving it is…..WOW.
The judges think that this is what they are meant to be doing and that it is beautiful to watch.
Act 4: Tom Ball: I never thought I would ever hear Creep by Radiohead with an operatic twist, but here we are. I can see him taking on this genre and making it his own for a good, long time because he is just that good.
The judges find the performance emotional, powerful amd moving.
Act 5: Aidan McCann: After snarking about Simon’s age, he moves on to do a card trick that evolves into a balloon trick. It is quite interesting and I am curious to see what he does next time we see him perform.
The judges think he is amazing and impeccable.
Act 6: Bello Sisters: They begin with a wonderful combination of strength and grace and then take to to a whole other level with fire, blindfolds and other tricks. Win or lose, they are going places!
The judges think they are gorgeous and brilliant.
Act 7: Mike E. Winfield: He jokes about family and….stealing? I am so confused, but he is still funny.
The judges call him a true entertainer that improves every time.
Act 8: Light Balance Kids: Acts like this have always been my favorite. The special effects, the dance, the creativity…..there are no words for how wonderful this is!
The judges think they may be unbeatable.
Act 9: Avery Dixon: He is KING! I am so happy every time I see him on the stage. There is just something so special about him and the way he commands the stage….I am in awe of him.
The judges think he is SAXATIONAL!
Act 10: Kodi Lee: This kid is a LEGEND! Every time I watch him perform I cry. He is so iconic and amazing. I hope to see more of him in the future….in fact I low key want him and Avery to collaborate one day.
The judges call him a hero and love how he shines on stage.
Act 11: Aidan Bryant: What a way to end the night! Not only is this act dedicated to his late grandma, but it is absolutely breathtaking, complete with danger, grace and acrobatic moves I can only dream of doing.
The judges think he is breathtaking and in a different league.
