Q) What can you tell us about the initial breakdown you received about your character Emilia?

A) When I first heard about Emilia, I thought that she will be a challenge for me and also so exciting because she is villain of the season. They didn’t tell me much about her, but during the casting process I could feel that she would be the key to destroying Las Encinas.

Q) What was she like and what resonated with you?

A) The unconditional love she has for her family – she would do anything to protect them. Besides that, she couldn’t be more different than me.

Q) When we pick up with Season 8 of “Elite” Emilia is a part of the Alumni Association Club who wants students to bid to be a part of it. What is her and her brother’s angle and intentions towards Las Encinas and its graduating students?

A) They come to Las Encinas with the idea of finding new members of Alumni. They also want to find investors for Alumni so they can keep their lifestyle. They use Alumni to have fun and fulfill their darkest desires and fantasies.

Q) What are some of the themes and driving points we will get to see this season for Emilia and as a whole for Las Encinas?

A) It starts with Joel’s (Fernando Lindez) death, and as the season progresses, we will see how the characters change and they turn into each other, especially Héctor (Nuno Gallego) and Emilia, as they are the new addition to the school they become the principal suspects.

To sum up, we will see love, passion, aggression, betrayal, racism, classism, etc.

Q) How does Emilia and Hector relationship play with or against each other as the season progresses?

A) The season starts with them being really close, but when Héctor starts a relationship with Joel we will see how they gradually separate until they almost break their relationship.

Q) Is Emilia looking to make allies or enemies or both?

A) She’s looking to make allies in order to gain more power and continue in her place of elitism. Although she doesn’t mind having enemies because she knows she can defeat them.

Q) Are there any specific episodes that you are looking forward to fans’ reactions?

A) I wanted to know what the fans thought of the discussion scene with my brother and I’m happy because people liked it a lot and connected with Emilia and her problems. It is a scene that brings Emilia closer to the public.

Q) What are some of your favorite moments from filming or from behind the scenes?

A) My favorite BTS moment is in Chapter 3 when we recorded the races. I had never experienced something similar so close and it was an unforgettable experience. I love action scenes and being able to see how they are recorded and being part of them has been a gift.

Q) This series has pushed a lot of boundaries provocatively and has been one of the most talked about Netflix shows. What do you think has been about “Elite” that has continued to captivate fans and keep “Elite” intriguing for so many seasons?

A) “Elite” has all the ingredients to captivate. It’s sexy, fun and frenetic. It has thrills, comedy, drama and action. Also, talks about topics that are taboo and makes people think about them. I think it has all the ingredients to captivate the viewer.

Q) What has being a part of such a special series meant to you?

A) I was a fan of the series since its beginnings; therefore, it has been a privilege to be part of Las Encinas, not to mention that it is one of the most recognized series in Spain. It has been a true gift to share with my colleagues and close Las Encinas together.

Q) Are there any cast from previous seasons you wish could have made a cameo or you would have loved to share a scene with?

A) I love to think that Emilia and Lucrecia (Danna Paola) are friends. I think it would have been wonderful to record with Danna. I also think it would have been an interesting mix to see a scene between Emilia and Miguel Herran’s character from the first season.

Q) What was your reaction to the final script and where we leave off with the characters and the school?

A) I loved the last script! As a fan of the series, I think it is a great ending for “Elite.” After so many events, Las Encinas closes forever, leaving its characters with new stories but in different places. I think it’s a great ending to the series even though fans will always want more “Elite.”

Q) What do you hope lingers with fans after the series finale?

A) I hope you always remember all the feelings that “Elite” has made you feel over the years. “Elite” forever.

Q) What do you think will be the imprint that the series itself leaves?

A) “Elite” has been an iconic series. I think that will stay with every person who has seen it. “Elite” does not intend to teach, but we’ll never forget all the stories and characters that have passed through Las Encinas.
