Angela Trimbur – Fully Loaded
Q. What are the current projects that you are working on?
A. My “Entourage” episode airs on HBO July 17th and I’m working in class, I’m in three different acting classes right now and just kind of just keeping myself busy all the time.
Q. You are set to star in an upcoming episode of the show “Entourage.” What can you tell us about the episode and your character Jen?
A. My character Jen is a corporate publicist who basically uses her job to get with A-list celebrities. Basically she scouts out which guy she wants to like get with for the night.
Q. Are you a fan of the show “Entourage”?
A. Oh definitely, oh yeah, I’ve been watching the show ever since it first came out. It’s such a funny show, it’s like “Sex and the City” but for guys, it’s great! The show was up for a Golden Globe and it’s one of my favorite shows.
Q. Whose in your entourage and what makes a good entourage?
A. Gosh, what makes a good entourage I would say is a little bit of flavors of everything. You know you get one person that’s the sweet one, one person that’s the designated driver, you get somebody else who is the funky outspoken one. Just a little blend of everyone so that you guys balance each other out. I would say that my entourage is just all over the place, I have a girl that I used to go to school with at the Fashion Institute. She’s my crazy girl who always has a story to tell and she thinks I’m hysterical so whenever I want to be funny I give her a call. Then I have a sensitive ex-boyfriend that I am still best friends with, he’s just very matter of fact, he gives me great advice. Then this guy that I’m seeing right now, he’s a crazy actor guy and he’s just always high energy and sometimes he’s a little too overbearing. I don’t have an entourage that we all hang out with but I dip into different pots all over the place. Just because I’m in different spots like New York, Pennsylvania and now I’m in L.A. so my entourage is a little scattered.
Q. Recently, you worked on the movie Loaded, what was it like getting to work on that set?
A. It was awesome to work on, my role was this girl and she hooks up this guy with cocaine and she just is wondering if he’s a cop. It’s a fun little role and I just started working with that same production company again on a movie and that movie will be starting to shoot in the fall. They are working with Paramount right now on getting everything together with budget but that’s going to be an awesome horror movie, it’s really scary. The location that we shot at is literally haunted, we developed pictures from film production and there are little white orbs in all the pictures. I swear that place is haunted, it’s really scary and it’s going to be an awesome movie.
Q. What about the movie Loaded made you want to be a part of it?
A. Well I have been committing myself to any and every project for the last couple years. So, I’ll go in on any audition and kind of map it out and when I went on that audition they were really pulled together. Everything was just really organized and just really exciting to work with people that had their stuff together. It’s great and it’s a great script too, you can’t just say yes to everything, you have to pick and choose your stuff and you have to have faith in the script. There is nothing like watching something, I did this other movie and I watched it after we shot it and I’m like, “this is the cheesiest thing I have ever seen.” From now on, I never do anything unless I have faith in the script.
Q. How has studying with The Groundlings helped with your acting?
A. The Groundlings really open you up and make you not care what other people think and gets you outside of your head with what’s okay with society and just lets you to let loose. Whether it’s a “Saturday Night Live” or “MadTv” type of skit or a serious audition it just really helps you open up and have no cares in the world wit whatever comes at you and it’s really opening.
Q. What summer movie are you really interested in checking out?
A. I just saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith which was pretty cool to see their energy and their sexual tension going on. I sawBewitched and I was a little disappointed and now I’m going to go and seeWar of the Worlds today. I have heard a lot of good things about it and I want to go and see that.
Q. How important is it for you to interact with your fans on your website?
A. I think it is important to check up as much as I can, whenever I have free time to really get back to someone. You never know, sometimes someone will have written to me and I haven’t checked my email for a while and they have asked for advice. It’s just cool knowing that some people listen to someone else that they admire. It’s just nice being a role model for somebody that’s leaning on you, so it’s really important because you never know whose life you’re going to touch. It’s not an ego thing, it’s just more about learning about other people and just kind of being open.
Q. What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?
A. I would just like to say thanks guys because it’s really awesome to know that many emails come in and that many people care. It’s just really sweet, some people keep me more up to par on stuff than I am, they’re like “were you in this?” and I’m like “oh yeah I was on that!” It’s nice to know that you guys are looking out for me and I hope that you guys like some of the stuff that I come up with in the next couple of months and years. I am glad that you’re all fans!
