A soundstage in Hollywood was transformed this past weekend into a chic, Instagram friendly showcase for Ashley HomeStore new furniture line, Urbanology. With the tagline “City roots. Eclectic living,” the American furniture store chain aims to reflect the urban surrounding of its future owners with sleek, modern beds, tables, sofas, rugs and accent pieces.
“This is our taste of mid-century modern meets boho meets global and we’re really excited to share it all with you,” Senior Director of Marketing Kelly Davis told the crowd. Saturday’s event, which was put on in partnership with Pandora, encouraged attendees to see what these pieces would look like in their own home by recreating a bedroom, dining room and living room and allowing guests to sit, converse, eat, drink and play in them. Among those in attendance for the preview event were influencer Chris Baris, actress and influencer Alyssa Lynch, Lifestyle blogger and digital content creator Lili Mitrovi, and professional golfer Chelsea Lynn Pezzola.
In addition to specialty drinks and food a donut wall, DJ, photo ops and a first look at the new furniture line, guests were treated to an exclusive concert by musician Ne-Yo. The Grammy winning singer-songwriter and judge on “World of Dance” performed hits such as “Miss Independent,” “Closer” and “Mad,” as well as songs from his most recent album, 2018’s Good Man to an energetic audience.
Products from the Urbanology line will be available to purchase from Ashley HomeStore beginning on October 15, 2019.
