Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?
A) I filmed a supporting role in the horror film The Nun and I recently filmed a leading role in an Indie drama film called Shepherd.
Q) Please tell us the premise for The Nun.
A) It’s the next chapter in The Conjuring It’s about the origin of the demon Valak. It’s about a priest with a haunted past and a nun on the verge of her vows who are sent by the Vatican to an Abby in Romania to investigate the death of a nun.
Q) How was your character Daniel originally described to you?
A) I am the haunted past of Father Burke. That’s all I can say!
Q) You often take on comedic roles. What made you want to be a part of the movie?
A) As an actor I really wanted to try something new. I’m excited for people to see me in a completely different way! I love the idea of scaring people!
Q) What did you find challenging about your portrayal?
A) It wasn’t challenging for me at all! I loved every second.
Q) Were you familiar with any of your costars before working with them on this film?
A) I was familiar with Taissa Farmiga because my little brother Ocean played her little brother Michael on “American Horror Story” Season 1.
Q) What advice did director Corin Hardy offer that you took to heart while shooting?
A) Scream so hard that your veins pop out!
Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from working on The Nun.
A) Director Corin Hardy is a great artist and he drew out every scene and had it all in a book. He showed me my scenes sketched out. When I wrapped filming, he photocopied the drawings of my scenes and gave it to me as a wrap gift, signed by him and all the producers!
Q) What do you think it is about this movie that will make it a fast horror film favorite?
A) It’s a fun roller coaster ride of adrenaline and a classic story of good vs evil!
Q) Do you have any favorite horror movies?
A) The Nun is my favorite!
Q) You were a part of the iconic series “Girl Meets World.” Talk about what you personally took away from being a part of the show.
A) It taught me how to work hard and learn lines fast. It taught me to be a professional actor on set.
Q) Have you kept in touch with any of your former costars?
A) Yes! Rowan [Blanchard] and Corey [Fogelmanis] just came to my birthday party. I see them all the time actually. My mom and their moms are best friends, so we are always together.
Q) What advice would you give to up and coming actors and actresses?
A) I would say to always work hard at it. Don’t let the no’s stop you. Every no brings you closer to the yes.

A) I love how supportive the fans are. They are amazing. People in general are very, very nice.
